Camiael Refine

Camiael Refine is a local-first document utility for organizing PDFs, scanned documents, and images on iPhone and iPad. It is not just a scanner. Camiael Refine helps you scan a document, clean it up, turn images into PDFs, reduce file size, reorder pages, and use on-device AI assistance on supported devices. The promise is simple: your documents stay on your device. Camiael Refine is designed without accounts, cloud uploads, advertising, watermarks, or subscriptions. On iPhone, the app focuses on quick scanning, compression, and sharing. On iPad, it gives you more room to review pages, compare results, and organize files. Key features - Scan documents - Compress PDFs - Merge and split PDFs - Reorder pages - Create PDFs from multiple images - Reduce image file size - Improve contrast and use black-and-white document mode - Extract signatures and stamps with a transparent background - Place an extracted stamp anywhere on a PDF or image (PDF text preserved) - Compare original and result file sizes - On-device OCR, summaries, and document Q&A on supported devices - Save to Files or share through the system share sheet Camiael Refine is for sensitive contracts, receipts, tax documents, meeting materials, class notes, and other files you do not want to send to a cloud service. Note: Some PDF compression workflows recreate pages as images. Searchable text, links, annotations, and form layers may not be preserved in the output file. On-device AI features require Apple Intelligence support.
