Camino app is perfect for the Camino. It gives the distance to the next town and includes accommodations along the way.
No cloud backup ?
I spent many days entering my 40 odd stages and accommodations on this app, but when I bought a new phone yesterday they all disappeared. Apparently there is no off phone backup. I like this app a lot but this is extremely frustrating.
Just Brilliant
Everything in one place. Easy to follow and navigate and now my primary planning tool for my walk next year. I expect it to be invaluable whilst walking as well: Accommodation reviews are very helpful as are the maps and information on stops from point to point.
Best app for Camino Francaisé
I have every app for the Camino. This one is the easiest to use with quick connections to Albergue booking.
Great tool for Camino planning
I am planning my first Camino France and am using a variety of resources. I have found this one extremely helpful. It is a great way to plan the stages, see distances, elevation gains and descents, see accommodations, and learn a bit about each city. As I will be taking the Invierno after Ponferrada, I would love to see that Way added to the app.

Not as keen today
It’s been okay. But now there’s a screen asking me to review the app and I cannot close it. It’s effectively locked. So I’m not sure how helpful this is if it does this when you need it most.

Hi ccbadchap, This sounds very unusual and not a bug that has been reported before 😞 I've published an update over-the-air to remove prompts for reviews entirely. Restarting your app while connected to the internet should receive it. No directions
Cant figure it out. It initially gives a list of accommodations with pictures but no additional information or how to book. It tells you to “mark as booked” once confirmed but I was unable to figure out how to do so. So could not move on to the next stage. Is there info about each stage, degree of difficulty, a map, what sights? Who knows since you cant freely move around the app. There are much better/more navigable apps.
