This Improved My Camino Experience
I was an early user of this new application while I walked part of the Camino Frances in spring 2026. The short audio messages, no more than five minutes, are keyed to specific places on the Camino.
The messages begin with a theme from the Codex Calixtinus, the medieval guide to the Camino, and then masterfully relate that to the issues faced by modern pilgrims. Listening is quite immersive. I enjoyed connecting the history of the Camino to my own current experience. The writing is eloquent, informative, and insightful. The questions at the end are very thought provoking and they help connect the message to the individual Issues in a pilgrim’s life.
I research Camino resources extensively and I do not know of any app, guidebook, or other aid that provides anything like this. This app compliments but does not replace guidebook apps like Wise Pilgrim or Camino Ninja. The app certainly enhances my Camino experience and I heartily recommend it.

Thank you so much, Maurice. Your words truly mean a lot to me — especially because this is exactly the new kind of Camino experience I hoped to create. Rather than replacing traditional guidebook apps, my goal with Caminos is to offer something more reflective, immersive and emotionally connected to the Jacobean tradition and to the personal journey each pilgrim lives on the Camino.
