Great app
I used this app all through a 6 week pilgrimage and it was great. It got me through the journey, helped me book places to stay and I never got lost. I recommended it to many on the Camino. Wonderful
Excellent
Highly useful for showing the Camino route while walking to ensure you don’t stray. The ability to download the segment for the next day, so that internet isn’t needed in remote areas, is a great feature. Also used to verify with other apps, in order to locate places (stores, hotels, and so forth).

I had all the apps but used this one the most to keep me going the right way. I wish there was more info when two paths are shown, about why there are alternates and which one most people take. But that info is readily available on other sites. Generally, very helpful!

This was an excellent source of information to plan lodging prior to my Camino, and along the way unused it every day for distance and seeing my current location. Every Pilgrim should have it in their tools for pilgrimage.

Helpful, but not always 100% accurate
Just finished the Portuguese Camino from Lisbon and referred to the app several times to make sure we were on track, or to get us back to the Camino when our accommodations were off the main route. As there have been some routing changes on the Portuguese Camino to avoid busy highways, it was not always 100% accurate, but combined with Google Maps, iOS Maps and our written route descriptions, it helped. Honestly, if Google or Apple could just add the Caminos to their Map applications, it would be far more helpful. After 4 weeks of walking, I was getting tired of toggling back and forth between applications. There were also a lot of cafes & restaurants en route that did not show up when we searched in the tool, but did in one of Map applications. I will probably use it again unless something better comes along before I head back in a couple of years.

He bajado 5 após do caminho De Santiago. Fue mi primer camino, solita, y me daba pánico pensar que podría perderme. He usado solo esta, porque me resultaba práctica y sencilla y me daba toda la información que necesitaba.

Pretty good
Just finished the French Way using Camino Tool. It’s easy to use and fairly intuitive. I like the visual map with the GPS. It’s helpful to follow. There are several areas of improvement needed. It’s really slow to load. Really slow. With 5G over most of Spain, this was ridiculous. It’s hard to shift from the map to the list of towns with distances. The accommodation list is pitifully incomplete. It didn’t show alternative routes. It didn’t show changes in the route so often it was useless. It should have an option for user input for updates, changes, comments and corrections.
This is the only app I tried, only app I used. I will look at other apps that have improvements before I use Camino Tool again

Camino Portuguese to Santiago and Muxia
I was delighted to discover this app though I wish I had it from the start (Coimbra to Porto) where signage was lacking. So easy to use, very detailed route so was a lifesaver repeatedly and also confirmation, as needed, that I was on track often. Would recommend highly.

Creo que para lo que es, cumple su función desconectado a la red ,aun que si es verdad que los teléfonos y informaciones de los albergues necesitan renovar. Pero en general 100% recomendado para los peregrin@s!
Used this app more than any other
This app was a Camino saver. Used it many times a day to keep us on track and find meals. Highly recommend! We used Portuguese coastal and central trails.

I’d highly recommend this app to pilgrims. It was so help to check we were on track and see the different options.
Only thing that could be improved it better listing if restaurants. It wasn’t very reliable and we found google getter for that.

Très bonne app
Parfait pour organiser son chemin, trouver des auberges pour la nuit, se guider… La prise en main peut être confuse au début, mais après, on trouve tout dans l’appli.
Error message if no login
This app demands a login and provides an error message if trying to access without a user. Tired of forced data collection on me. Looks like it could be useful but unless we can access without giving up our personal data I’ll never know.
