Paywall everywhere
The latest versions of the app have blocked all usability behind paywall screens. This previously was my favorite camping app, but their pay tier is simply too expensive for the features I want to use. If I wanted RV navigation, maybe the $59 would be worth it. So frustrating to see great apps get chewed up by corporate. I’m happy to pay something, just not what they are asking.

Hate the new version
I do not like this new version. It feels harder to use. Will be using my other apps . I was going to sign up for pro but if it’s hard to use why spend the money. So disappointing. I used to love it.

What happened??
How is copying a gps coordinate a premium feature? Useless.
Now worthless
This used to be the go to app, now it is basically useless. Cancelled my subscription.
What Happened to the Best RV Source
This used to be our go to for trip planning. Now, it is just not a good source at all. Your ability to search free over nights are gone! When you search an area and then come to the same search another time it is not the same. So disappointed.
Performance on the new design
It’s been a couple years since I’ve opened the app and recently I opened it and noticed the new design is noticeably less performant and slower to respond to taps and scrolls. The new map is also less easy to scan. I’m on a one year old iPhone pro.
App freezes
You cannot tap on the address anymore to link to any map anymore. This use to be really nice to use. Hopefully it gets improved.
Was great
I’ve used Campendium for years and it was phenomenal. After this latest update, it is basically useless.
New UI is Terrible
The new UI is absolute trash. You have to scroll down to just a few miles to see all the campgrounds and there is way too many clicks to clear campground info. This app used to be a great asset, now it’s just corporate garbage.

Fun while it lasted
The app has been completely replaced. The reasons I paid for premium are no longer available so I just cancelled.
I’m not even sure how useful the app even is anymore. It won’t even let you copy the GPS coordinates. Presumably so they can lock you into their inferior navigation product instead. You have a use case for those coords outside of navigation? Too bad

I used to loved this app
I used to love this app to find camp spots. I was also just talking to my husband about how it would be nice if there was an app that gave you RV friendly routes with RV friendly gas stations. We are trying out the free trial currently and aren’t impressed with the fact you can’t find stops along the way while you’re in navigation. I also really dislike that they got rid of the filter on the map. It’s nice being able to change between dispersed camping, paid camping and dump stations, etc. I really dislike the new changes. They are not user friendly at all.

Great app and support
We have used Campendium for about 6 years for all our RV trips. Information is usually correct and reviews of sites are very helpful. Just make sure to see when the review was posted. I also like that we can leave a review of the campground if it is different from what we read.
Was Great, Now Meh
This app used to be useful, now it provides a lot less information about campsites. I’m not going to renew.
Disappointed
Been a member since 2020. This was My go to app and I loved it. Since the upgrade, I am thinking on deleting this app. I hope you fix this.
Used to be incredible, new updates stink :/
I have used Campendium for years (started using in 2020) and it WAS my favorite go-to (was even better than iOverlander in my opinion). I have used it for many many camping trips and while sites can be a gamble at times, it has been an incredible app for finding dispersed spots. Unfortunately, the newer updates have really changed things and I now have struggled to find good sites, lost all my saved spots, and it makes it impossible to map to sites through the free option on the app. Feeling sad and frustrated because this really was my go-to for years!

Poor navigation
The new and revised app is very hard to navigate. I hope this will be corrected. In the past We relied heavily on Campedium when we travel. At this point I have to find another app.
Terrible Update
I use to love this app. It clearly is all about the money now and making it so difficult to use that you upgrade and pay for features that use to be free. Now you have to upgrade to even use maps to navigate to the spots. It’s a real shame because I would use Campendium more than any other apps, even though there aren’t as many updated comments on sites. It use to be so easy to use.
Who ever changed the app did a terrible job. It is way harder to navigate and it doesn’t show you all the options like it use to. Everything needs to be filtered to appear on the map, and that’s if it gives you the filter option (which now has disappeared….) I will no longer be using or recommending. I guess I will switch to I overlander. Way to lose your customers.
