Could be the making of a great game
TLDR: great game concept but currently a poor - ok game experience, it’s a long way from becoming a fun, interactive, enjoyable and addictive game that requires strategy and basic physics.
I have rarely ever wrote any reviews but feel compelled to this time. The concept is great, love the idea. There’s very few games like this, it might even be unique but it’s lacking in many areas. I tried easy mode, which was very difficult to beat 66 seconds. You have to tap what fuel you want - but it takes so long to acquire it, and then does very little. For example tapping to get a log, but when you add that a log, there’s barely anytime to get another and place it before the fire burns out. Twigs and branches take more or less just as long to get but burn much quicker, stumps didn’t do much difference compared to logs it seems.
Glad I had no ads! That’s a rarity to see these days and made me play a lot longer than I otherwise would have. Another down side is how long it takes to get coins, and to get an axe so logs take less time seems like I’ll be playing for hours just to get that and no idea how beneficial it will be, might make it to a minute and a half who knows lol
Tips and things I think would really help improve the game and experience.
The rocks where the fire is started is so dull, have a better graphical interface. Let us see the twigs, logs and the others burning away so judging timing to add something is easier and more convenient than just by going on the fire dying down.
Make the easy mode much easier!
Make it easier to earn gold coins in easy mode, add more types of fuel, add basic physics and improve graphics is an absolute must - to go from a basic concept to a fun and addictive game.
I will keep a look out for future updates, I really hope you can put the time and effort in to making this a great, fun and addictive game that has a much better overall experience.
