Was good
After this recent update, all of the custom items that I put into this list over the several years that I’ve had it have completely disappeared. It is reset to the basic list that it comes with when you first download it. It’s pretty much useless for me now, and it took so much time to put in all of my custom things. Deleted the app.

Simple, timeless, to-the-point
It’s not pretty. It’s not flashy. But it’s not trying to be. Instead of trying to top the charts with clickbait, the devs made a genuinely good app that is completely ad-free. The app is advertised as being tailored to packing for camping, and it absolutely is and does that incredibly well.
I love the sub-lists feature. I can put winter clothing in its own sub-list inside the main clothing category so it has some separation, because it’s not always winter.

Needs update
Loved it, but no longer works on iPhone after latest iOS ( 13.1 ) update. Doesn’t save any new items and anything you check off.
Only Packing List App You’ll Need
I love this app and use it all the time for my trips away. It comes with some categories and item lists as suggestions but I found the best thing to do is start afresh with your own lists. Every time you forget something add it to the list and you never forget it again. Great app and the only Camping list you will need.

Can’t reset list
I was messing around and deleting lists, but there’s no way to reset it and get them back! I deleted and reinstalled the app but all the suggested lists are gone and I can’t get them back. Now the whole thing is even more useless
Keeps shutting off
Hi. I just down loaded this on my iPad and all the preloaded menu is missing. I went ahead and typed a list and it shut off. Also I’ve had this on my iPhone and it’s doing the same thing since your update. I’m sure it’s a bug fix. Please address soon.
I’m afraid of the new pink icon.
Sounds frivolous, but I always liked the old pine tree, campfire and picnic table icon. If the new icon is a pink square with CL on it, it may be a deal breaker. I’m a living, breathing lumberjack, and this one cosmetic change is too hard to swallow. Kidding aside, I’ll use your app and dream of my rugged campsite.

I like the ability to have several lists. A few suggestions:
Would like to be able to sort lists manually (not necessarily in alphabetical order).
Would like to be able to clear all checked items at once.
Make letters smaller so you can see more of the list on one screen.
The text should wrap. There is no easy way to see your full list item.

Too Simple
I have a young family of 5 and my older kiddos work best with their own lists. They need quantities. Tshirts 5, Underwear 6, ect. I don't want to have to type in "Underwear" 6 times.

Very user friendly. Starter list is perfect.
The suspense is killing me
If there are directions on how to use this app, where are they hidden, because it doesn't jump out. This could be a handy and important app if one could figure out what it does other than the little trial and error that is available. Please, if there is something I'm missing please tell me.

This is a useful & simple app. Nicely intuitive & easy to use. Editing is restricted to deleting an item. Could be improved if spelling was correctable. Worth the money - I think so.
Once your list is made up you can email it and print it and tick each item as you stow it.
Direct printing would be a nice upgrade.

Simple and Effective
This app does its purpose well by efficiently listing all the things that are needed one going camping.
Good but could be Great
I really like the list but you need to add the ability to print each list separately and email them separately. Also should add the function to put in alphabetical order

Almost there
I've been using this app for almost a year now. I used it a lot this summer for my camping trips. The addition of copy, move, and rename were huge improvements. The app has become very usable with the additions. I created my own system where I have a master list that includes all of my equipment and built a template list from the master that includes the items I usually take. I can copy and rename the template to the trip name and customize it quickly by removing items or adding from the master. The future improvements I would like to see would be iCloud syncing between devices and a way to import items from spreadsheets, csv files, or xml. Then it would easily be a 5 star app.
