Update issues

All Apple devices after the June 26 update wouldn’t work. After 1 hour of using my technical knowledge I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked. Very frustrating and a lot of roaming data used to get working. Otherwise an ok App and ACSI is brilliant.

Oui appli indispensable. Payer 15 à 19 € dans un beau camping en bord de rivière sous les arbres ou le même prix sur une aire goudronnée ? Y pas photo.

Trop d’applis, fonctions pas claires

Même une IA vous le dira « beaucoup de voyageurs s’y perdent avec la multitude d’applications proposées par ACSI » … tout est dit !
J’ai acheté un abonnement d’un an via l’appli ACSI … ben zut, on vous qu’il faut aussi prendre un abonnement sur une autre appli « CC » !?!
Et je ne vous parle pas des nombreux campings qui affichent prendre la carte, mais vous disent que dans les faits, ils ne l’appliquent plus depuis 2, 3 ou 4 ans !?! Les raisons ?!
Bref, ACSI faites qlq chose ! Même votre service helpdesk en convient !

App search not working on iPhone

I’ve been using the ACSI card and CC app for a few years and although it has had its moments I have usually managed to navigate around it and find what I need.

Today in preparation for a trip to Spain and Portugal I started looking for sites along our possible routes.

I have an iPhone 17 Pro, IOS 26.4.2

On the home page of the CC app I keep getting notifications that there are updates available, but they are for maps that I will not be using and despite what the FAQs say there is no button to delete the maps I don’t need.

My maps for Spain and Portugal are up to date. I’ve checked the App Store and there isn’t an update for the CC app, so that is also up to date.

Using ‘Campsites’ search, typing in the exact name of a site, I get, “Unfortunately there are no results …”

If I use the ‘Country’ search, typing in Portugal I get the same message.

If I use the ‘Town’ search, typing eg ‘Porto’ I get the same message.

The search isn’t working, which is very concerning when we’re about to start a 60 day trip.

Please sort this out as soon as possible.

Fabien’s developer reply to other feedback says please ring us, but you don’t give a phone number.

Dear gribs,It’s a shame to hear that the CampingCard app isn’t working. Under Downloads, choose Remove to delete the campsites. To see other campsites, remove any filters via Remove filter (top right). If needed, create a filter and delete it again. Not so good this year 2026

I used to really like this app. Apart from it going down over Easter, which didn’t bother me, as we weren’t away until afterwards, it is not only unstable, but often doesn’t show pictures from the site, which you know from the past are there. Too often it tells me to download a newer version of a particular country when I know I have the latest and then the app confirms this. What is going on? Failure due to pursuit of perfection? Having the card ACSI on the app is great. I don’t know whether this is in the remit, but sites should be asked to review route finder ways to them, to see if they are actually accurate. Yesterday it tried to take us through fields to get to the site. It is also irritating when I put in the name if a town like Metz into it and after a load of suggestions like …metz…. come up, the actual town spelled perfectly is 3/4 of the way down the list. However, suggestions around slightly incorrectly spelled site names would be useful.

Dear dad, Distances are currently calculated using a very generous (“as the crow flies”) method; . We are aware of the issue with missing photos, which can be temporarily resolved by logging out and back in, and are investigating it. Super application !

J’ai l’application depuis plusieurs années déjà et j’en suis très contente. Choix des campings, prix avantageux avec la carte ACSI, hors périodes, et l’application est très bien faite avec nombreuses photos, filtres pour par exemple sélectionner les campings qui sont autorisés poules chiens etc…

A complete waste of money - touring Germany and I haven’t found a single campsite that will acceptASCI card - when searching I not get Stellplatz and sites that will but accept ASCI - a waste of money !!!

Hard work searching

I google, find an ACSI site, go to the app and enter site name in search to see if I can book. No results every time.
I have to book via google and web page. I maybe doing something wrong?

Is this a Scam?

I purchased a CampingCard through the App and received the habitual purchase receipt from Apple…except that the card does not show in the App! The ASCI customer service auto reply says that it takes….7 business days to respond (!) The ASCI Help section suggestions are useless. Is this a scam?

Problème

Stop forcing downloads!

I use this when travelling. I am on roaming data - forcing users to download site updates that are up to nearly 1Gb before being able to see anything is ridiculous. Show old data with a warning, or download on zooming in. Do something!

Utile et pratique pour le hors saison

Bonne application avec beaucoup de renseignements sur les campings. Associé à la carte de réduction c’est un outil très pratique et intéressant pour les. Campeurs en hors saisons.

No maps work very disappointing

The card is well worth the price for camp site discount.
However the app doesn’t work correctly. The maps don’t download and have not worked for me since going digital.

The book was bulky but reliable. There is no longer access to GPS coordinates that I can find.

Quite disappointing.
