Incomplete
This app has the potential to be very helpful but there is a lack of any useful info on most campsites listed. In addition, I found multiple instances where legitimate (state park) sites aren’t shown on the map at all.
No information
There’s way to many campsite that they show that have no information including how much it costs or if it’s free. It does have the name of the campsite so you can google it but at that point there’s no reason to have the app

This app is pristine in presentation and very intuitive to use. Would highly recommend for fellow campers and or adventurers to take this app for a spin

Older camper loves this app
The kids are grown, out of the house and productive members of society. Thus, we have more time to explore America. This app is a perfect companion for our adventures. We love how you can filter for campgrounds, wild camping, or RV parks when you feel like glamping. The 3D mapping is also a killer feature. It’s like I have a helicopter hovering over the High Sierras or Utah. A no-brainer to download this free app and keep it close by. A much needed resource.

The camping app we’ve all been waiting for
I could spend all day on this app logging my previous camp adventures and creating lists of where I want to go next. The UI is so clean and easy to use and makes me want to pack up and get on the next adventure right away. The fact that this app is pretty much completely free (besides offline maps which is more of a donation), is going to make camping and finding new spots to explore all the more accessible. Can’t wait to visit some of the sites on here and create my own new ones. Share this app with all your camp buddies!!

Hands down, my favorite camping app!
I honestly don’t know how I went camping without this app before. It’s perfect for planning any kind of trip, whether I’m looking for a free remote wild camping spot or a nice campground to chill at for a few days.
The offline maps are a lifesaver—no more stressing about losing service in the middle of nowhere. I also love the map layers; being able to see BLM and USFS land is so useful, and it’s helped me find some amazing free camping spots I’d never have known about. And the 3D maps? Such a cool feature! It’s like getting a full view of the area before I even get there.
The lists feature is awesome for keeping track of all the places I’ve been and the ones I still want to check out. I love being able to view all the places I’ve reviewed on a map - it’s so cool to see a record of where you’ve stayed across the country!

Best camping app out there right now
I downloaded this app right before a weekend camping trip, and it completely saved the day. We were heading to a remote spot in the mountains, and, of course, we lost cell service halfway there. Luckily, I had downloaded the offline maps in advance, so we found the perfect camping spot without any stress. I loved how easy it was to see free camping areas on public lands—something I’d always struggled to find before.
The reviews helped us avoid a noisy campground and instead find a peaceful hidden gem near a river. By the end of the trip, I’d already started creating a list of future places to check out. This app feels like having an experienced camper guiding you every step of the way. If you love getting outside but hate the planning hassle, you need this app!
