Too soon to tell
I paid 60 dollars for this app yesterday. Today I got a push notification that ‘Campsite Tonight will shut down’ unless I give a review to keep the developer building. Would hope the 60 dollars took care of my end already but here you go…
18 hours and no sites booked. App looks clean and well built, but again, no real success from it yet in terms of results promised. Hopeful it helps get my family and I into the woods this weekend

Worth every penny
I was hesitant about spending so much for the app, but figured it was worth a shot. I have an upcoming trip to Yellowstone/Tetons and last-minute decided to camp instead of do hotels. A lot of the best campsites were long booked up. This has gotten me nights at those super competitive campgrounds! Well worth it. The add to cart feature is amazing!!

Works Well
I purchased the subscription in hopes of getting a sold out yosemite campsite! Hope one opens up and the app gets a chance to snag one! Overall app works great and is easy to use. UPDATE: Yosemite reservation secured on desired dates. no wonder i couldn’t get the manual availability alerts. Make sure to setup text alerts on the app, so you’ll be able to checkout right away.

It makes a challenging system more accessible
I know the reserve California system very well. Over the past year since they changed their website it has become increasingly more difficult to secure sites. This app has helped me secure incredibly competitive spots, like Doheny, Refugio, and Yosemite. I am very pleased with the developers response time and the user interface is super easy to use. The notifications are great. The add to cart feature for national parks is awesome! I highly recommend this app.

I’ve been reluctant to post a review for this app out of fear that when others find out about it, it’ll work less often! But the truth is, it really is a game changer.
Anyone who lives in CA knows that getting a campsite—never mind at popular, beloved campgrounds—is cutthroat! Setting alarms for 8am six months out only to see every site booked before 8:01am. This app has changed all that for me and my family. I’ve been able to book five different camping trips over the past year, at destinations that showed zero available sites because of Campsite Tonight.
I’ve got two young kids who LOVE to camp (about to take the older one on her first backpacking trip) and I credit this app with having made it possible for us to get out as often (and as memorably) as we have. Definitely worth it!
