Quaint in Chama NM
Built for quantity, very near the Combres Toltec railroad depot in Chama NM. It “appears” the past owners have expanded to maximize in the Tourist season. Restrooms/showers are in need of renovations and need at minimum portable restrooms at the edges of the park.
OK, but not enough detail for bookings
It’s great that so many campgrounds are using this tool, but they need to refine their maps for site selection. First of all, it should show a compass and all maps should be north on the top. Secondly, with pull through sites, show the direction of the pull through. Half the time I have to bother the campground anyway because it’s not clear even using google earth! Good idea, mediocre execution!

Optional rain insurance
Bought the optional rain insurance. Don’t bother! They even said at the beginning of the day I did not qualify even though I sent them 65% chance of rain all afternoon! Payout for .059 inches over 4+ hrs. I took radar pics showing rain for over 5 hrs and added the rain accumulation (can only get the last 24 hrs). Said I did not meet the requirements for a payout. I think they use a big generalized area to disqualify you. I used the exact spot of my campground. Supplied photos—denied! Waste of $$!

This site is NOT working
This app Campspot has NOT been working . I have called in three times spent more the hr on the phone with three different agents to be told there is nothing wrong with the site ? Huh then why when I log in can i see my personal information ,But have NO past or present reservations? We Have to pay a booking fee at every reservation! But no one can help with my issue…….

Nice place no facilities
This was a well manicured place. Only 6 sites available and we were the only camper. The park attendant answered the phone and we arrived late. He answered our questions and said there was a 25% discount due to no functional facilities. We had electricity and water and as stated, no bathroom facilities. There was not a discount given on the website. Manager stated the discount was already calculated into the rate. I thought the rate would be lower. Nevertheless, it was a clean site and many people were walking on a Saturday morning.

Sadly it doesn’t let me review any of the campgrounds. We have stayed at terrible campgrounds because the reviews are grossly inaccurate. The “campground “ we’re at now isn’t even a campground! It’s a very old trailer park that is using Campspot to temporarily fill in empty mobile home sites and the hosts are rude. We’ve only found one good campground using this app.

Not accurate
Booked a campsite that was shown to have a restaurant and bar, store, etc. looked great. Got there and the restaurant and store were closed. Bathrooms were gross. Won’t be using this app again.
With a few additional features this app could be awesome
The app is great for finding campgrounds in my search area, but… 1) Since you ask me to enter my dates, why can’t you filter out campgrounds with no availability? I have to go into each campground’s page, just to see they have no availability for the dates/criteria I entered. This is a BIG waste of time. 2) Please provide a link to the campground’s website, if one is available. It would be nice to see all the extra info that is only available on the web, like campground rules, downloadable maps, etc.

Can’t figure out how to pay my monthly rv spot
Charges fees without reason and then doesn’t answer emails & cannot talk to anyone when you call.
Zero stars at this point. I booked a week camping with my family, called the park months before hand to adjust the week by 2 days (no cancelation just sliding the days forward by 2) was told there would be no fee. Then when we went camping I was made aware that camp spot took almost $80 from the money I have on file with the park for the days I slid forward… I was never made aware.
The park said it’s not their fees that it’s Campspot and I needed to contact them. I have e mailed 3 times with no response and called the number provided but a robot tells you to call the park and hangs up. Worse than terrible customer service and a scam as far as im concerned.

App lacks core functionality and they have very few parks in their system.
I want to use our small trailer in a nice southern MD park. I would appreciate a map view with all parks, or typing MD or Maryland, and seeing a map or at least a list. Apparently they have only two MD parks.
