As of January 11, 2025, the offer had ended and the display was updated to show the regular price, reflecting the current pricing of the license. Lied about pricing

Downloaded the app and it showed that a lifetime license was free until I tried to “purchase” it at which point it changed to $49.99.

Unauthorized Charge

CamSCAN was promoted through AppAdvice as a premium lifetime version for $0.00 on 1/10/26. The lifetime option and confirmation screen both showed $0.00, and I approved the purchase via Face ID. I was immediately charged $21.99 by my bank.

This charge was not disclosed or authorized. This is misleading. I am requesting a full refund and caution others before downloading.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. The lifetime version was free only on January 10, 2025, as a one-day promotion, and that offer ended the same day. Lifetime purchases on that date did not generate any payment, so you most likely selected the yearly subscription plan, which is why a charge was made. App Store purchases require explicit confirmation via Face ID and always display the selected plan before approval.
