What's New in CamSprite

What's New in This Version — 1712 / 4000 GIFs. Your sprite now exports as a looping animated GIF — bobbing gently in place — straight into Photos. Six frames, redrawn. The old frames were drawn in code. These are real pixel art: an arcade cabinet, a handheld, a CRT, a versus screen, an 8-bit HUD and a pixel polaroid. Pick one from the new dial above the preview. Twice the pixel sizes. Eight instead of four, from giant blocks down to fine detail, on a slider you can drag with your thumb. Four new looks. 8-Bit, CGA, 16-Color and Pastel join Sprite, Soft, Handheld, Neon and 1-Bit. Export at the size you need. Avatar, sticker, wallpaper or full resolution — no more cropping by hand afterwards. Outlines, your way. Thin, medium or thick. And the colour picker is now a real square picker with the whole colour range, instead of five fixed swatches hiding behind a tiny box. Handheld, fixed. It was flattening photos into two shades of green and throwing the detail away. It now maps brightness across all four greens, so shading and depth survive. Faster. Capture, picking a photo from your library, and saving an export are all substantially quicker. Saved cutouts also keep their transparency now instead of flattening it. Everything tells you what happened. Save, share, print, email, GIF, purchase — each one confirms itself, and says so when it fails instead of doing nothing. FIXES • The idle bob no longer stops for good after you pinch or rotate the sprite • The frame dial and pixel slider respond the moment a capture finishes • Pinch and rotate now only respond on the sprite itself • A solid background fills the whole frame instead of leaving gaps around the sprite • Exported images and GIFs are no longer clipped at the edges
