About

Crush cans. Measure diameter. Compete globally. Can Crush turns can stomping into a competitive sport with photo-based measurement and real-time leaderboards. Can Crush makes can crushing a real, measured, local and international competitive sport. Stomp an empty soda or beer can flat, place it next to any standard payment or ID card, snap one photo. The app uses the card as a precision ruler and gives you the diameter of your crush down to the thousandth of an inch — accurate to within 1–2% of physical calipers. Smaller diameter wins. Climb the leaderboard. LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION Your home town shows up on the leaderboard the moment three crushers join. Above that: your state/region, your country, the whole world. Want neighborhood bragging rights? Be the first crusher in your town. Want global glory? Beat 50,000 strangers across hundreds of countries and 13 languages. PRECISION YOU CAN TRUST On-device measurement runs the moment you take the photo — no server processing, no waiting. The card-as-reference technique keeps results consistent across phones, lighting, and angles. Thirteen can types tracked separately — from 7.5 oz slim cans up through 16 oz tallboys and the new 16 oz aluminum bottle format — each with its own ranking. A 12 oz standard never competes against a 16 oz tallboy. PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN The app needs to see your card to use it as a ruler. It never keeps it. Card pixels are masked on your device before anything is uploaded — your card data never leaves the phone. The leaderboard image shows your can with an opaque shape where the card was. Use a gift card or any standard size card that has no personal information if that's what gives you the comfort level you require. CHALLENGE YOUR CREW Send friend invite links. Start head-to-head Beat My Crush challenges anchored to your best result. Build private groups for office leagues, dorm floors, tailgate crews. Run rivalry team competitions — red vs blue, team A vs team B. KEEP THE LEADERBOARD HONEST Earn Challenge Flags by playing — one when you finish setting up your account, another every ten crushes you submit. See a suspicious crush? Flag it. Once enough community flags pile on a single submission, it auto-removes from every leaderboard. CAN CRUSH STOMP Tap to stomp cans as they roll across the screen. Hit windows tighten as you level up; your level persists between sessions. Separate global high-score leaderboard. EARN BADGES, TRACK PROGRESS Performance medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) scoped by geography and can type — be #1 in your town for 12 oz cans without ever beating someone halfway around the world. Progress badges for milestones: first crush, 10 crushes, weekly streaks. Lifetime stats break down personal bests by can type. DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE Free. Ad-supported with non-intrusive banner ads — no forced interstitials, no pay-to-win, no paywalls. Available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Bengali, and Urdu. If you have ever crushed a can and wondered "could I do better?" — you are exactly who this is for. Crush. Measure. Compete. The leaderboard is open. What's New in Can Crush!

1.0.2

May 16, 2026

Smarter capture, clearer guidance: • Card detection is more tolerant of normal handheld angles — fewer "card looks tilted" rejections on perfectly good shots. • When you use the wrong-sized card (e.g. a business card instead of credit-card size), the app now tells you specifically rather than blaming a tilt. • Capture Tips updated to lead with non-financial cards (gift card, hotel key, library card, ID) so privacy-conscious users have an easier first step. • A new sanity check catches implausibly small measurements before you see them. • Behind the scenes: anonymous diagnostic telemetry so we can keep tuning capture accuracy from real-world data. • EU/UK/California users now see proper consent forms before personalized ads. Same can, smaller diameter, bigger leaderboard. Crush on.
