Can you escape 6

I was able to find almost everything,,put game down now I have to restart????...I don’t remember where everything is,,finally figured out what I gotta do and I keep getting interruptions,,then I have to start from the beginning,,,what is the issue here??? Keep asking me if I can escape?...I hit either yes or no and the game goes crazy!!!!!
