About
Stop chasing people in the group chat. Can You Play? is the fastest way to set up a game, invite your people, and know who's in.
Pick the activity, the place and the time, say how many spots you have, and invite. Players answer with one tap from the app, an email, or a link. Nobody needs to download anything to say yes.
SET UP A GAME IN SECONDS
• Pickleball, mahjong, or anything else you get together for
• Name it ("Saturday Doubles"), add the address, time, length, courts or tables, spots, and cost per player
• Your recent locations are one tap away
• Repeating games: weekly, every two weeks or monthly. The next game is set up and its invites go out on their own
INVITE THE RIGHT PEOPLE
• Pick from people you've played with, your groups, your phone's contacts, or anyone by phone or email
• Groups: keep your regulars together and invite a whole crew in one tap
• Share a join link or QR code so new people can sign up and get invited
• Spots go to whoever says yes first. After that, people go on a waiting list and move in automatically if someone drops out
FILL EVERY SPOT
• Prioritize invites: line people up in order and invite only as many as you have spots
• When someone says no, the next person (or next few) on your list is invited for you
• Choose when everyone else is invited: after a wait, or a set time before the game
• Sub list: backups are invited a set time before the game if spots are still open
KNOW WHO'S PLAYING
• See at a glance who's in, who's out, and who hasn't answered
• Automatic reminders go to anyone who hasn't responded, and "Remind all" sends one now
• Everyone who's in gets a reminder the day before
• Mark people in or out when they tell you in person, or write in someone without a phone
• Add co-organizers to help run a game
• Pickleball round robin: mix partners and courts, and share it with everyone
EASY FOR PLAYERS
• Answer from the app, an email, or a link, with no account needed
• Changed your mind? Drop out and your spot opens up for someone else
• All your games, and any invites waiting on you, in one place
WORKS WHERE YOU ARE
• iPhone, iPad, and the full screen on iPhone Duo
• App notifications, with email as the backup. Texts are optional and only go to people who've opted in (reply STOP anytime)
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Sign in with a one-time code, no passwords
• Your phone number and email aren't shown to other players
• Optional Face ID / Touch ID lock
• Report or block anyone
• No ads, and we never sell your information
• Delete your account anytime from the app
