Freezing the discard pile is a nice feature… opponents get tricky by retaining two of some of the cards already melded… this will confuse you into thinking that the computer is cheating but the ai opponent is just using advanced thinking. You will become a better player if you can be a good card tracker and not play into a trap.

Not the funnest but okay
Decent game. Do not get if you are new to Canasta. Level 1 npc is super hard, level 2 npc consistently picks 3 cards, which is not right. Cheater. Progressing in this game takes way too long.

I enjoy playing this game but it’s very well loaded in their favor. It’s difficult to win consistently.
Helped me improve
I’ve been playing canasta for over 30 years. This game has tremendously improved my skills. The leveled bots are given personality which makes the game engaging as you learn. Well done.
Great game app
If you love playing cards, and if you like the game Canasta, you will love this game. It is very well thought out and makes for a pleasant afternoon or evening. There are always challenges and fun choices. I do recommend this app Canasta Card House. I’ve been using the app for several months and totally enjoy it.

This is a great game, I just wish they hadn’t added ads. It’s frustrating.
Get used to losing
When the playing against the computer it is very difficult to win, your opponent frequently has access to the discarded pile, which you do not! To be honest I got tired of the same formula which always ended the same way, game deleted after two days.

Really fun but I’d love to see the devs update the house decorating features.
I love how you can customize games to be frozen or unfrozen, 3000 points or 5000 points, single card draw or double. I love the daily challenges and I try to complete them each day. I only play the computer — a few times I’ve had human opponents (not known to me) and it took too long or they quit mid-game. So I stick to the 6 computer players.
I paid to turn off ads and to unlock the LA players. No regrets.
I had fun furnishing my house. But I’ve been amassing game “money” and have nothing left to spend it on. I’ve purchased all of the furnishings that I like. There are three spaces where it looks like you can buy something but then there is nothing available. I’d love different carpets and furniture. I’d also love to be able to rearrange things wand place them where I want, not just in the fixed space. Hoping for updates, but I’m losing hope.

Computer cheats
Fun game. Moderately well laid out.
However, the computer cheats.
1. It allows itself to pick up discard pile cards, but not its opponents in same scenario.
2. Gives itself different requirements for starting play. I needed 90 points to begin play, it allowed itself only 50 points.

Canasta game play
This card game is a lot of fun. But beware when you are playing the computer, it has the upper hand and it wins 90 percent of the time . Very frustrating because I get 4 and fives constantly when drawing cards. It knows what cards you need and you will NOT get them. Again if you can deal with losing most of the time this card game is for you. I take it as a learning experience.

Definitely broken
Other reviews mention this, and I can confirm it. The discard pile pick up for the player is wonky. It doesn’t follow the rules. It’s usually frozen for me even though it should be legal for me to pick it up. If you’re looking for a good canasta game, don’t choose this one unless you see that the bug is fixed in the update notes.

Fun way to play with friends
With our busy lifestyles it can be hard to make time to play a decent round of Canasta. This app allows me to play with friends near and far at a time thats suits us both.
It is also a great way to improve on your game achieving its goals and levels, though some can be way too challenging at times.
I Would love the opportunity for it to save the game so if we dont get to finish we could come back to it.

I was putting up with the ads until…
Tonight, there was a scummy ad for a gambling game designed to sucker people into thinking they can make good money. Then to top it all off, they’re letting the Chinese advertise their subversive TikTok app. I’m deleting this app.
Not worth time
Game starts out great. Won a lot, and then more sporadically. Standard in that when you put any $ in, the computer starts to win every challenge. Then a game that was fun becomes frustrating and no longer enjoyable. Really a bummer :(

Need more Goals
Need more goals…the game is boring when you are playing for limited coins and nothing to look forward to. Also seems a little fixed sometimes. Other than that, I do enjoy the game. Thanks
