Solid 5 for playability , one of the best Canasta games I’ve played on the iPhone
Seems like all the reviews are ages old
I would think there would be some newer reviews. If what’s here are 12 and 13 years old, I’m sure improvements have been made. I play this game against the computer. I would like to see a better partner. Since you cannot make a wild card canasta, you have no choice but to make dirty canasta’s, which results in fewer points. Being able to pick up the discard pile if you have the cards on the table is not conducive to competitive play. I can add more, but the bottom line is that I play every day and enjoy the game.

Dosen’t Let you finish game
When you pick up a lot of cards it will not let you play them out into books. Game will just stick and go no further, also sometimes person playing against does not put card out.
Canasta improvements needed
My partner has the meld but throws jokers away which is wrong. Keep improving it.

I have really enjoyed this game. Just upgraded to an iPhone 15 on iOS 17 and the game is now slightly blurry. This is the first time that has happened.
I watch my partner give away points!
I hate it when the last 5-7 cards that my partner discards are laying down waiting for canasta to be completed, and she gives them all away. She could’ve gone out with some of those trailing cards.

Love to play, BUT…
Partner every two or three games seems to be playing against me and for the other side. Just when we seem to be ready to make a canasta, he discards the needed card. At the end of almost every hand, he holds on to so many cards (most of which he discards are down in front of me. It’s easy to tell that this game is programmed for me to lose about every third or fourth game. That’s no fun.

I haven't ever played this game like my partner has!!!!!! She doesn't know how to play the game!!! Keeps her cards as long as she can! Then the other two players go out! Like I said this game is hopeless because the writer is always right!!!
Like playing this game but …
Since the iOS 15 update this app has stopped showing how the score is worked out. It’s nice to see how you got whatever your score is
Same error for years
This is a fun version of Canasta to play. HOWEVER, reviewers have been noting in the reviews for years that it is irritating for the partners to slough off wild cards uselessly when ending the hand, when the wild cards should have been used to finish another canasta.
Frustrated
I get frustrated when the computer puts an extra wild card on a closed canasta, especially when another canasta could have been made. Also when a canasta is made you shouldn’t be able to pick up the pack with a matching card. The discard pile should still be locked needing a pair to pick up even if you have gone down for the initial time.
I keep playing because I love canasta but eventually have to take a break it doesn’t follow the rules.

Great Game
I play this everyday at lunch! I grew up playing Canasta. This game is fun
Format
I hate the new layout. Now it goes vertically, whereas before it went horizontally and you had more room for your melds. Now, if you have a lot of melds, you have to go back and forth all the time to see what you have laid out. It’s not fun this was. However, I do not have any of the other issues that people on here are having.

Canasta
I just finished a game in which I had thrown away a king. The opponent (computer) picked up the pile after a few more turns and used all the cards to go out. The king was nowhere to be seen. I now have no faith in this program. Can you fix it so the opponent actually plays cards it has rather than cheating?

Every once in awhile the player to my right picks up the stock pill & then they do not discard. Very frustrating.

Needs some work
I love canasta, I play a lot! This app is ok…it needs some tweaking tho. Some of the problems that is so annoying are...the opponent picks up the deck and doesn’t discard, what a glitch! Also, my partner is intent on dirtying up a canasta. We will have five or even six cards down and before I can add my two to make it a natural he adds wild cards, frustrating! Oh, and lastly, he is constantly giving the deck away when I know he could have discarded a safe card, because he pick up the deck earlier and had safe cards in his hand. Also, I may freeze the deck because I need it frozen so I’ll have safe discards, he picks the discard pile up his next turn and keeps the wild card and discards a black three. Now, it becomes my turn and I’m stuck again. Those are the cons to this app, but I still play it, just wish they’d update with some fixes.

Disgusting scam app
I just purchased this app. There are no instructions available in the app to figure out how to move the cards around. I can’t meld, I can’t access any online partners, I can’t do anything. Apparently there is no way to get my money back. I have gone to their website, to their Facebook page- they clearly have no interest in helping purchasers troubleshoot.
