Game locks up……….
Today I had enough cards to make the 120 meld but when I put up the first 3 tens it locked up and would let me finish adding the cards to make the meld?

Terrible
I thought it was a good app, but after playing the last three times. I’ve noticed that you can’t meld the cards in my hand. I needed 120 points I laid down 3 A’s, and was going to lay 2 J’s with a wild card (2 -20 pts.) then I was had 4 (7’s - 20pts.) for a total of 120. But after laying the 3 A’s down it wouldn’t let me lay anything else down. This is not like the real card game!

disconnected
I get disconnected at least twice a day playing Canasta. I always bet 500 and when i am close to winning the round, it kicks me off. It would be nice to get my credits back!!
Stop blocking the cards please
Soooooo frustrating . When you have the correct cards they get blocked …while holding in your own hands the right amount of cards to put down …it glitches and won’t let you ….this is a HUGE HUGE glitch and needs to be fixed . Please stop blocking the cards!!!! So many games are frozen and you cannot finish the game the whole game freezes for 4 people …stop blocking cards .. ugh!
Also stop putting messages directly over the cards …it makes it frustrating you cannot move your cards with it written right over the cards …
Other than that I love this game but this is frustrating and ends games for everyone …terrible

Issues
Having issues after picking a pile and trying to put cards down. Had enough for 120 with 10 extra and it wouldn’t let me lay the cards down.
Glitches will make you crazy!
I love this game and it is really hard to find someone that knows how to play this game. I learned to play canasta when I was a young girl but playing with my grandparents. I love to play, but I can’t find anyone to play nor can I find anyone who knows how to play. The one thing about this game is that whether you’re playing online with other players or off-line it seems that you’re playing with bots, and it never allows you to play the way you want to play whether you have enough points to play or not these glitches need to be fixed Period! I have a brain and I have strategies that I would like to use. I don’t need a computerized game, telling me how to play or deciding what card. This game is great otherwise, just very aggravating because of this and it does cost you to lose the game and a lot of points so otherwise I’m waiting for you to fix this so I don’t have to stop playing my game.

Does not follow the rules
I just finished a game and the computer cheated. The deck was frozen and it took the deck without having a natural pair in its hand. I won anyway but that doesn’t matter if the computer cannot follow simple rules. I will be deleting this game.
Sadly buggy
I like the layout of the screen compared to other versions, and I enjoyed a few complete games when i got it. There are several bugs, though, which have gotten in the way of enjoyment. 1: Doesn’t recognize unsuccessful meld to return card to discard pile, 2: Frequently freezes late in the game, 3: Allows you to take a frozen pile with a card you have already melded, rather than necessitating that you be holding the cards to unfreeze the deck.

Hahaha!
I had a red three in my Hand and it wouldn’t let me place it with my other one on the board. Then when I discarded my last card, I still had the red three ‘in my hand’ so the game thought I had one more card to play I still couldn’t move it up with the other so it continued to play as if that red three was a playable card - (but really couldn’t be played). I had to quit the ame to end it!

Buggy
So as of this writing, there are two positive reviews which, honestly seem a bit suspicious. The game has a number of bugs including:
1) Allowing the AI to discard their final card without having a canasta, but not ending the game and having to draw one card the next round...which it can’t discard so you have to restart;
2) not recognizing that you have put the cards back after an unsuccessful meld with the discard pile, resulting in having to reset; and
3) to being able to discard when you have an unsuccessful meld from the discard pile resulting in having to reset the game.
Those are the last three I came up against in the last 15 minutes of playing. As mentioned by others there are issues with the rules (e.g. diamond red 3s are put to side and add 100 pts. each to your score while hearts do not for some reason and are treated like black 3s) which also can cause frustration. Unlike what another reviewer wrote, it is buggy, not just a very simple app.

Decent.
Fun and time wasting, when needed. Needs update on rules.

Cannot even select, draw or meld. I cannot even touch cards, this game doesn’t recognize my touch. What a piece of trash. DO.NOT.WASTE.YOUR.TIME.
Just horrible
Other reviewers have already mentioned the lack of knowledge the developers have of basic Canasta rules. The game is also broken is too many ways to list here. The major bugs are: Some cards I drew stayed upside down in my hand so I had no idea what they were. The only thing I could do was discard them. The game would randomly not let me add the 7th card to create a meld. Just don’t waste your time. I can’t believe I just wasted more of mine with this review...

Don't Know Canasta
Have you ever played Canasta???? This is the most ridiculous version I've ever seen. Sorry, but get a Canasta rule book and read up on the subject. Real fans of the game should stay away.
Simple Card Game & I Liked It
This is a simple card game app. It doesn’t really have bugs, it’s just the designer made it simple without a lot of bells and whistles. I like it.
It's ok but a serious omission
This version of Canasta is ok (graphics & how you move the cards pleasant) but a very frustrating serious omission is that if the discard pile is frozen & you lay a card of a suit that your opponent has exposed, he can pick up the pile without needing 2 of that card. Why?? Would be great if this was addressed, it would move it up at least 1 star!

Needs work
The computer hand will discard its last card even though it hasn’t got a canasta this causes the game to freeze.
Great but.....
Game is great but please fix the problem of when you run out of cards the game stops as in you can’t do anything but hit the home button.
