Love this app, worth your money. Hope to see more updates on it. It gives not just candlesticks to look out for but the tips and tricks on how to avoid false postives. That is lacking in other apps i have come across
Japanese Candlestick Patterns
This program is great I highly recommend it! I especially love having it available on my phone where, I can use the app to fill the small blocks of time that would otherwise be lost. The repetitious exposure reinforced my learning as did the flash card section.
Very well made
I like this app a lot. Provides a good amount of information and acts as a good resource. Some of the terminology can be confusing related to “Details” section, especially for a novice like myself. Otherwise, no complaints.
Excellent Additions
The App information on patterns is comprehensive. I have been using it for 3 years trading as a quick reference on the run. I find the new version cleaner and with the Slide Show just perfect to review the pattern that are most important to me. I think it’s the best compared to others that do not provide as much detail on each pattern. And you can change whatever you want.

The absolute best candles reference
This is is so thorough and complete I cannot believe it only cost five bucks.
I am used to free or $1 apps but bought this based on the reviews. At any price it's a steal.
As a relative newbie to candles my only desire would be either a tutorial, ad a separate would be fine. I'd also like a less complete app that covers the most important candles since I will never remember all of these.
I just bought a book on canes and expect to learn how to simplify this. But don't remove anything from this wonderful app. Great job. Very easy to use and very powerful.

A must buy. Great if on the run and need to keep fine tuning your knowledge while on a break or at lunch. Looking forward to more enhancements.
Portable Reference
The App stops the need for going to several books and personal notes to search for a particular trade pattern and possible actions. It’s not just a simple flash card reference but does provide this capability in separate tab in game format. Instead it provides a full database to query by name and attributes (bearish, bullish, number of days, etc) and suggested actions. Some candle patterns have contradicting reliability and confirmation opinions between sources, so you can modify your own best values for each pattern or add new patterns. Also you don’t have to look for a pattern, the pattern can be found by input of the trade environment (prior bull trend, three days, reversal). The drawings are accurate and some have annotations and all have step by step bullet recognition notes.

Very useful learning tool and reference
The new 2.0 version is great. The charts are clearer, the interface has been improved and corrections made. Because it's so useful, I'm giving it 5 stars even though there's still room for improvement. For instance, I look forward to seeing a few interface refinements that will make it more intuitive. In any case, Candice is a wonderful technical analysis learning tool!
