Great app!
This app has saved me from making too much wax. It makes it super easy to pour any sized batch. If I had one thing I’d change. It would be great to have a “convert to metric” function, where I could enter the weight in oz and have it convert that to grams for me. It’s not hard to do so manually, but it would be convenient. Over all great application!

Better before the update
The math is different now!!! I know this because previously it would fill wax perfectly, at the same spot the water weight would be at. Now I have left over. Every time. I just tried a status jar and it’s a joke how much I had left over. Why did you mess with this?!!
Last week I used it to make clamshells and never had an issue before. It should have made 10 clamshells and it ended up making 12.
I’m glad I screen shot my previous calculations because otherwise my candles would be off too. Previously the calculator said for 6.6 of water oz with 10% FO that I would need- 5.3 oz of wax and .6 FO for one candle. Now it says I would need 5.46 of wax, and .55 oz of FO.

The new update is an excellent improvement
To all the users giving the developer negative reviews...please understand that it was the OLD version that was the problem. It rounded off the math calculations. The new version is MUCH more accurate. That is why you are seeing differences in the answers.

I loved this calculator. It’s all I’ve ever used. I’m just not loving the new update. The calculations look like they’re in the background. They were much more visible with the other version.

Calculations are off sometimes
Some of the calculations are spot on at times and then other times it’s completely off.

If you can be a little more specific, I would love to help. I have tested this on different quantities and it comes close every time.
Really Helps
This calculator really helps me save wax. The look of the updated version is basic but I still works just as good. Does grams and oz. I don’t make my ca flea without this now.

Are you measuring using water? This app is to estimate how much wax you will need to fill a vessel, by measuring water weight. Wax is more dense than water so you should get a lower number. The explanation is in the help section in the app. If have anymore questions, please reach out.
Candle Calculator Makes Newbie Smile
Did my first batch using Candle Calculator and I must admit was I skeptical about its accuracy. After pouring the last drop into the last candle container, there was no wax/fragrance mix left except what was on the side of the pouring container, of course. Thanks for making this app!
Needs updates
Add a gram option for more accuracy.

This app is dreadful. The measurements are so far off. I was not even close to the right amount. Complete waste of my time!

I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you. Are you sure followed the instructions on the help page? I use it for my candles whenever I use a new vessel and it works fine for me.
