Tranquility ruined
What is the sense of having a candle on a black background if not for ambience. But you plaster a bright advertisement over the top of it? I’d pay for the app without the advertising. Don’t see a way to get it without the stupid banner on it.

Didn’t work. Got disowned by my whole family at my grandmother’s birthday party.
Poor app
Downloaded it but cannot find it on the screen at all, only shows up when you open it in the App Store and searches for its name every time you need to use it. Do not recommend.

This app is old. There are newer ones out there.

i have a phobia of fire, ever since an arsonist burnt down the orphanage i lived in (long story). but i love the ambience of a good birthday candle. this is a perfect alternative. there are many excellent options for candles, and even a chance to add music. i love blowing!
Pay to get rid of ads
Anyway to get rid of the ads? Ambiance destroyed by them rendering the app next to useless now. Also blow feature no longer works

Downloaded this evening as I didn’t have a candle for my wife’s birthday cake! Very amusing but how about you make the torch (light) go out when the candle is brown out. There certainly is an app for everything!!
When did ads get put in for everyone?
I started using this app years ago and loved it. I even bought the three dollars worth of alternative candles. But it didn’t used to have ads for people who purchased the candles. then for a while, it was crashing, so I took it off, but reinstalled today. Now, despite having paid for the other candles, I am getting ads.

I’ve had this app since it was shown as a tribute for Steve Jobs’ funeral back in 2011. It was great. A couple of years later, ads started to appear. Users caused an uproar, and the ads went away. A few more years pass, but greed has reared its head again. We have ads. Pathetic.

Ugly google add now at top of screen. This was such a lovely simple realistic flame. Now ruined by google ad at top of screen. PLEASE OFFER A PURCHASE OPTION TO GET THIS OFF THE SCREEN.

There is still ads even when it is said in the version history that ads were removed.

Paid for 99 cent holiday add on; Didn’t get it
I paid for the 99 cent holiday candles add on, but when I tap on the candle, nothing happens. It doesn’t show up, it is a black screen.
Is there any way to fix this?
Otherwise, I like this candle. You can blow it out via the microphone which was cool. Also, different candles included in basic selection.

I’d be willing to pay for an ad-free version
Great app, but I have to keep my wi-fi on now to control a smart lightbulb, and so there are always ads, ruining the aesthetic.

Took a nice little app I’ve had for years and loaded it with pop up ads.
Wonderful relaxer; great for meditation
Been using this app for years! It does what it’s supposed to with a charming variety of candles from which to choose. Really helps me relax. The movement of the flame due to air flow helps me get in the flow, too! When I use it for meditation, the candle really enhances my letting go. Thanks so very much!(also great safety wise & for travel!)
