WHERES MY GOLDEN CANNON?
I paid the monies, let me get my golden cannon, or refund me please.
Great but needs a few improvements
Downloaded this game for the nostalgia I had for a game called kitten kannon, and while it came close to emulating the same experience it was never quite the ideal.... there’s quite a bit of room for improvements for example ; the reset or restart after the projectile is landed should be immediate or we should have the option to tap on the screen to immediately go to the restart screen...for now we have to wait for the item to explode before it can be restated....
Also what’s with the option of different projectiles at every turn
?? I think the user should have the option to choose from among the choice of projectiles... but it shouldn’t change on every other restart
Overall a great effort but somehow it didn’t come close to matching the experience of kitten kannon... that game had far more enjoyable experience and a lot more fluid movement of kitten with the option to throw kitten just a few steps off its mark once it landed by tapping on the screen but I think it’s more subjective ......would really want the developer to improve this game

Obstructions outnumber supposedly helpful objects
Obstructions that are there to stop your projectile in its tracks are: brick wall, stop sign, bear trap, lobster.
But also if you hit the trampoline on the side you stop.
The archers send your projectile skidding along the ground more often than into the air. And when you’re sliding on the ground, the things that are supposed to propel your projectile don’t work. So you’re just sliding until you hit something or just run out of steam.
Also the flying dragons kill your momentum more than they help.
Recommend stop spending your coins on boosters when you get to the dragons. Once you’re maxed out the screen is too busy and you’ll never reach your previous high score.
There is no way the global high score is real. I’ve never even approached 25th place. And I’ve shot a lot of projectiles.
Fun at first cuz it reminded me of kitty cannon. But way overdone and not as enjoyable after a short while.

Power ups are useless
Don’t bother collecting coins unless you’re using them for the 25 coin random items to shoot out of the cannon. I Literally spent so much time buying the power ups in the game to find out it makes the game less enjoyable and that they don’t help out. Now I wasted all this time collecting coins to do worse.. what’s the point in that? Besides that it’s a decent time waster game

Great game, will outlast the game that inspired it.
Really brings back the joys of kitten cannon, although with App Store rules toned town graphically. Now with Flash player dead that game is not going to be playable for most people, while this will live on.
Fun time waster, two suggestions
Definitely a fun time waster. Like many other reviews state I found this due to familiarity with kitten cannon on the cpu.
Anyway, it’d be cool if there was a mechanism to earn coins other than watching ads or randomly hitting a few here and there on the game. Like maybe you earn some if you got certain distances.
Also a daily or weekly and/or monthly personal and global leader board would keep day to day interest more peaked. It’d give me something attainable to shoot for on the regular because those 5K ones don’t happen regularly.

Lack of coins
Only decent way to get coins is by watching adds.

Use coins collected in game to buy items that just make the game less enjoyable to play. I’ll just play kitten cannon in the computer

I like the game but I paid 2.99 for the gold cannon and got nothing

I downloaded this off of nostalgia for an old game I used to play called Kitten Cannon. Needless to say, it didn’t disappoint. A couple of weeks of casual gameplay and BOOM, I hit 3rd on the Global List (Back when NA_W was 1st). I was sure I could get past NA_W’s score that was within a few hundred of mine. I was addicted. Soon I had bought all the boosts. Long after I bought all the characters. Now all that remains is a helicopter pulling a banner, a golden cannon, and an 11th place digital trophy. Is this it? Is this what life has to offer? The small hope that something new will appear keeps me shooting. One day, soon, I hope...

The game itself is alright, a tad boring after you’ve been playing for a while. Could’ve pulled off a 3 star review if it wasn’t for the graphics - they’re just not good. Hard pass on this overall.
