What's New in Canntina

2.1.1

August 6, 2018

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Resurrected the original app from 2010 and updated it for iOS 11. Touch the "i" to bring up the settings page where you may transpose the pitch up or down up to one octave in semitone increments. Touch the number to the right of the transpose slider to reset the transpose to zero. When transposed, the note labels do not change, just the pitch produced.

Helpful for beginner

I love this app. Very fun as a practice tool for a duet. I am a beginner so I like being able to easily see the key pattern to help get the song into my head and fingers. I had trouble with getting the sound to work at first but then realized I had my phone's mute button switched on. Silly mistake. Nice app.

Not faithful to real concertina

Unfortunately, it is not possible to play this app like a concertina. Standard Maccann fingering involves playing two buttons simultaneously with a single finger regularly. This app does not support that, so it is impossible to use standard Maccann chord patterns on this app.

Good but...

Just what I wanted but it would be better if it started at the lower C like a Wheatstone. The top octave offered is less often used except for calling dogs! An option for this would be good.
