What's New in Canopy AI

1.1.7

October 22, 2026

WHAT'S NEW 1. Canopy AI assistant (harvest scheduling and harvest estimates) - Open it from the sparkles button at the top of the main screens. - The greeting shows example requests that use the signed-in organization's own ranch and block names. - Try: "How many tons of [VARIETY] do we have at [RANCH]?" The assistant replies with a summary and a card listing each block's estimated tons, plus variety and clone where available. Blocks without sampling data are marked "No estimate". - Try: "I need 10 tons next week, which blocks should I pick?" The card pre-selects recommended blocks. Tap rows to change the selection, then tap "Schedule N blocks" to start a harvest pick. - Try: "Schedule a pick at [RANCH] block [BLOCK] tomorrow at 7am." The assistant asks for any missing details (for example the customer) and shows a preview. Nothing is created until you tap Confirm. - Misspelled ranch or block names are matched to the closest ones, with suggestion chips to tap. - The microphone button dictates a message using on-device speech recognition. Microphone and speech recognition permission are requested the first time it's used. - Message text is sent to a large language model behind a data governance layer interprets the request. Only the message and the organization's ranch/block names are used. No contacts, location or photos are sent to the model. 2. Apple sampling (Samples tab) - Starch can be entered in decimal steps, or scored from photos of cut apples taken with the camera. Camera permission is requested when you first take a photo. - Firmness is recorded per fruit with its own fruit count. - Cluster weight is entered in the user's chosen units (imperial or metric). - Readings that are off by default start switched off. Samples are saved to the server rather than kept as local drafts.
