Archaic and devoid of news
This app is so archaic it’s hard to describe. The company clearly just doesn’t care about the user interface and experience. If that isn’t bad enough there isn’t enough in it to read on a daily basis to justify the cost of the news. I’ve subscribed multiple times hoping things would improve but it just doesn’t happen. It’s mostly become feeds from USA Today and the Associated Press and not enough on what’s going on across Cape Cod. Buy one of the local weeklies and you get more news tha5 you will see in six months in the CC Times

Love layout, possible app icon update?
I absolutely love having an interactive, digital version of the physical newspaper instead of the usual mobile-only layout news apps have for vertical scrolling/reading nowadays. The feel of expanding and pinching articles and “flipping” pages, while also having a way to tap articles and read them in they’re own focus window is such an intuitive way to give that classic newspaper experience without compromising ease of use when you need it. Always loved newspapers so this is a great alternative. I just hope the developers will update that ugly app icon being used that’s just the small newspaper title with the black “E-edition” bar on the bottom. My Google Play store version of the app has a beautiful navy blue background with a bigger title and seagull logo that fits the icon wonderfully, sadly it doesn’t correlate to the home screen for some reason, which looks like the same icon we have here. Such a great news app deserves a modern app icon, kinda like the alternative app of the CCT that’s mobile-layout only. Love this app either way!

The Cape Cod Times has worked hard to create a great digital version. It is easy to navigate. Great local coverage. Love the expanded news section recently added.
Buggy app
I love the idea of being able to read the paper on my iPad but the app is buggy. I am unable to download the paper close to half the time. Sometimes I get a message saying there was an error, other times the app just spins. At first I thought it could be my home internet connection so I tried connecting through hotspots from two different carriers. Sometimes clicking the Clear Storage button helps fix the issue and other times it doesn’t.
I enjoy sitting down with a coffee and reading the paper but the frustration of an application that does not consistently work is more frustrating than it is worth. I will be canceling my subscription.

No paper is great
The digital paper is terrific, can read everywhere and no paper to throw away! Like it allot!

Some technical glitches : Not always able to enlarge text of article or cartoon. Not able to share all , cartoon or article. Insufficient opportunities generally to comment or write to editor.

On line paper
The on line version of the paper is easy to use. BUT, I would much rather read the paper copy! I like reading from paper plus it is easier to do my puzzles! Hope it doesn’t become more than Sat this way.

This app is GREAT! It looks and reads like a paper newspaper AND you have the option of selecting the individual article for even easier reading! Also, with the tap of your finger at the bottom of an article it will automatically bring you to the concluding page so you’re not flipping page to page. If you want to look at a previous day paper-NO PROBLEM! It’s all right at your fingertips!

App very unstable
At least every two weeks or more frequently I have to delete app and download again as it shuts down. Today I have done this five times and reloaded and still cannot read paper without in shutting down
Cape Cod news from afar
We have vacationed in Cape Cod for more than 30 years so it’s nice to read the Cape Cod Times and stay informed about one of our favorite places! Newspapers across the country are struggling with readership so we are also happy to support newspapers like this. Thanks!

I enjoy the fact that I can read the paper at my convenience and never worry about the delivery. Easy format to use. Yes I would recommend it.

App is much better than the old one. More versatile and I like the icon notice that the paper has arrived.
