Thanks so much for this app. Helped me a lot on my walk and made things so much easier when trying to find the track. It was better than my GPS and worked all the time, even in areas where there was no signal. I can’t thank enough for putting this App together.

Perfect App
The only thing I needed for navigation and planning. The locate function is fast and reliable. I would always recommend having a backup way to navigate, but I did not need one.

This app is excellent, guides you everywhere along the track, no internet needed.
Lots of info, loved distance from where I am to any of the noted spots on the map.

Simple and easy to use, loved it
Good but could be so much better
The app is great for showing where you are on the map (great topo map) and route ahead but some additional functionality would make it so much better.
Firstly, if you could work out how far you have to go to your next camp/lunch spot/pick up location that would be a big help for time management - so please add distance between two points. One of the primary reasons for requesting this is that trail section information is a bit sparse with distance splits to milestones within each section.
Secondly, when reversing the route and heading Northbound, it’s not very intuitive to use as the titles for each section are still in a southbound format. We are a party of five. Each using the app for the first time and all find it confusing to use and work out distances.

So Good
Recently finished the Cape to Cape unsupported camping. This guide was awesome. Between us we had the book, AllTrails and this app. The app was the most useful of all three and far superior to the book. It all works offline so the absence of signal is not an issue. Best money you will spend if you are doing this track - apart from chocolate of course. To the developers of this app - 🙏 🥰

Fantastic app
Very simple to use and great for peace of mind walking solo. Easy to make sure i was following the track.
Offline GPS Mapping Is Excellent
Just finished Cape2Cape walk and found the offline GPS mapping reassuring in confirming the beach exit points when markers were non existent or not clear.Water collection points were invaluable in planning leg’s water requirements.

Essential guide
This guide is the most comprehensive and easiest to use that I have come across. The fact that it works completely offline saving my battery was a game changer. My phone was in airplane mode the whole time so one charge lasted the full 6 days and the app never missed a beat. Perfect for the whole trek or use it to do sections as day hikes.

Not usable if walking North
Only find out that it is not of any real use as a guide for walking south to North, after downloading. The contact details to enquire if there is a reverse function lead to an invalid email address.
Can use the map, but it is close to useless, with no topography and minimal labelling of any recognisable features like capes, rocks beaches, minimal road and 4wd track intersections to assist in locating yourself.
Disappointing.

Would be nice if you could reverse the way the app works for those who wish to walk south to north.
Outstanding app for hikers
This app was absolutely key to our recent six day thru-hike of the Cape to Cape. It provides helpful overviews of each section of track along with annotated maps that include your GPS location along with track details, water points (and their reliability), shops, campgrounds, and much more. Also lots of great background information. Only a few very small areas for improvement:
-Information is getting a bit outdated but this was only an issue for things of minor concern (for example a campground listed as having showers no longer has them)
-No topographic data on map, which would be helpful
-No listing of campsites outside of the sanctioned ones. This is likely because camping along the track is technically forbidden, but clearly is done very often. We saw tons of campsites where we could have pitched our tent in a bind. Would be good to include these as contingency options.
Overall a must have for anyone thinking about doing this amazing hike!

Very well set out. Easy to use and has everything you need to plan and walk the Cape
Awesome guide and essential companion
Just completed the C2C track and this app was so helpful. Information was great and really helpful in organising ourselves.
While the track is generally well posted there are spots where the markers are missing or hidden and the offline map was a real timesaver here. It was also really helpful to estimate how much further we needed to walk each day to plan rest breaks and lunch stops.
We had the printed book and the maps from the WA government thus was our go to resource on the track as it worked so well and was simpler to just pull my iPhone out if my pocket than retrieve the book or maps from the backpack.
If you are going to do the C2C don’t hesitate and buy this app

No South to North
This is a great comprehensive app, but only if you decided to walk North (Cape Naturaliste) to South (Cape Leeuwin). If only there was an option to have the detailed track guide you from south to north.
