What's New in Capo

4.7

June 4, 2026

# New Features ## Call & Response Mode Loop regions can now alternate between playback (the call) and silence (the response), giving you a built-in gap to play what you just heard. Select a region, then press and hold the loop button to open the settings. # Enhancements - In the metronome settings, you can now mute the click track after the count-in is done. - Count-in will now work when there is no active looping region. When the playhead isn't on the downbeat, count-in gives you fewer clicks to get you in on time. See the user guide for more details. - The region is no longer deactivated when you tap on chord entries to audition them during playback. - Capo's User Guide has a new look, is searchable, and now covers both platforms. # Bug Fixes - We corrected an issue with the timing between the count-in and regular metronome clicks—there used to be a slightly longer gap between the last count-in click and the downbeat click. - The last string in the guitar chord boxes no longer draws a shade darker than the rest. - The last-set instrument (e.g., Ukulele, Banjo) is now restored correctly from user defaults in new projects.

Terrible chord detection

In allen Songs die ich getestet habe stimmen die Songs vorne und hinten nicht. Nicht nur ein bisschen falsch sondern voll daneben. Da ist man mit trial and error selbst deutlich schneller. Bitte kein Geld ausgeben, komplette Verschwendung

FAQ

What does Capo do?

Capo helps musicians learn songs by ear. It analyzes your music files to detect beats, chords, and the key of a song. You can then slow down playback, loop tricky sections, isolate instruments, and edit chord progressions to make learning easier.

How does Capo help me learn songs?

Capo allows you to break down songs into their individual parts. You can slow down playback to hear notes clearly, scrub through the audio, and create loops for difficult passages. The app also identifies chords and beats, which you can then edit and refine.

Is Capo free to use?

The basic version of Capo is free to download and use. However, to save your edits to projects, sync across devices, and access all features, an active subscription to Capo touch Pro is required. This subscription costs $19.99 per year.

What devices is Capo compatible with?

Capo is available for iOS devices. It supports iCloud syncing, allowing you to access your saved projects and settings across multiple Apple devices if you have an active Pro subscription.

Can Capo analyze songs from streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music?

No, Capo works with music files that you own. It cannot access or analyze tracks from streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, or others. If you don't own a track, the app provides a simple way to purchase a DRM-free copy from the iTunes Store.
