Hello, We want to let you know that Ultimate Guitar is back up and running, and the app is now fully operational again. Earlier, we experienced serious issues with our servers that caused the website to be completely unavailable for several hours. We know how frustrating this was, especially for those who rely on Ultimate Guitar regularly and suddenly couldn’t access their tabs, tools, or accounts. We sincerely apologize for the disruption and the inconvenience this outage caused. Our team has been working to restore the service and investigate what happened to make sure we can reduce the chances of a similar incident happening again. Please re-install the app, if problem is still there, please use this direct e-mail of Support team for screenshots/screen recordings- support@ultimate-guitar.com. How many in app pop ups?
Really? I open the app for The first time: it’s forces me to take a survey that has like 1 million questions. The has like five different pop-ups that I have to navigate through that aren’t related to tabs at all. Then I search up a band, click on a song, get met with 2 more in app ads. Not third-party. These ads are for ultimate Guitar.
Sidenote: when you click on “open this tab inside the stupid app” it doesn’t even open it in the app. It just sends you to the App Store so then you can tap to open it through there and then it just opens the app. didn’t search it or bring the tab that you clicked on to go here. so it’s just easier and quicker to do it on the webpage… as long as you’ve have a ad blocker cause I’m pretty sure that site is as if you don’t.
UI CHANGES
Also please change layout for iPad, there is so much space on the right side, the rest of the song should fill the space before going down the page. Would be good on all devices really.
