About

Capoflip recommends the exact capo position for YOUR chord chart — spelled the way a real songbook is, big enough to read on a music stand, and fully offline forever. A one-time $0.99 purchase: no account, no ads, no subscription. SMART CAPO RECOMMENDER Paste any chord chart and Capoflip detects the key, then ranks the top three capo positions by how many chords fall onto easy open shapes for guitar or ukulele — and tells you why ("24 of 26 chords play as open shapes"). SONGBOOK-CORRECT TRANSPOSING A rebuilt music-theory engine transposes to any key with proper enharmonic spelling — sharps in sharp keys, flats in flat keys, even Cb, Fb, E# and B# — so your chart reads the way a real songbook does. STAGE MODE A full-screen, large-print performance view with auto-scroll, a pinned "Key · Capo · play these shapes" banner, and a screen that stays awake — made to read from a music stand. NASHVILLE NUMBER SYSTEM View and export your chart as numbers — transposition-proof, so any singer can use it in any key. PRINT, PDF & MORE Export or AirPrint a clean chart with optional fingering diagrams. Find the best key for your vocal range. Per-instrument chord diagrams with a left-handed mirror. ACCESSIBLE Dynamic Type, VoiceOver that speaks full chord names, high-contrast and stage themes. PRIVATE BY DESIGN You paste your own charts. Everything stays on your device — no account, no network, nothing collected. A one-time purchase, no subscription. Capoflip works with chord charts you supply; it does not include copyrighted song content.

New in 2.1: Setlists. Group your saved charts into a running order for a gig, then tap Perform to play the whole set straight through in Stage Mode with next and previous song controls. You can now import ChordPro files (.cho, .chopro, .pro, .crd) or plain-text charts from Files, and search your History by song title, key, or any chord. As always: everything stays on your device.
