missing one crucial feature for turntable photography
The option to return to the starting position is absolutely necessary for a lot of applications in professional turntable photography. The Manfrotto syrp genie mini does have this feature.
App just does not work well
I bought the capsule to use with my DSLR and iPhone and have had no luck to get either one to work. With the iPhone I try to do a video pan and for one I don’t know why you can’t slow it down more than 10. Second, when I try to do a simple video pan there’s no way to set the amount of time it should record. If I hit pause it just keeps panning. If I just close out then it literally just continues to pan until I shut the capsule off completely. So so disappointing.

Old slider and focus stacking doesn’t work anymore
So I’ve the old slider.
After firmware upgrade I am not able to use it anymore. In focus slider mode, the app find the slider, it worked the first try, and the finish….
I can see in the upper right of the screen that the app detects the slider (‘s’ in the green circle) and a tilt module (‘t’ in green circle) which I don’t use!
I need to disconnect the slider and connect it again to make it work just once…. And do the same action again and again……

Awful
Wouldn’t pair via Bluetooth no matter how many times I tried.
So Disappointing
Had serious problems with both devices, either using singularly for a simple panorama and especially Pan and Tilt functions.
Notified MIOPS and was told the bugs had been fixed and new software was available.
Nothing was actually done. Device noted that software was up to date.
Still having problems and no one at MIOPS seems to care.

Good app
I like this product and his app... but when will arrive Italian language?! If will arrive. I hope
Paring needs work
I haven’t been able to successfully pair more than one device to my iPhone. There is so much potential here but the pairing needs some overhaul. The app should also include some reset and troubleshooting guides.
