Captain Lerna

CaptainLerna is an integrated educational and revision platform built into an interactive sci-fi game. Designed to make studying dynamic and engaging, it transforms traditional quizzes, flashcards, and question sets into an active learning experience that sharpens recall, memory, and focus. Learning is delivered across both 2D and 3D environments, ensuring you get the exact same curriculum and question sets whether you prefer rapid study or immersive gameplay. In the 3D action mode, knowledge reinforcement fuses directly with flight simulation—dodging obstacles and collecting resources while answering real-time quiz challenges to keep your craft flying. For times when you want pure academic focus without maneuvering hazards, dedicated quiz modes allow you to study distraction-free. DEEP CONCEPTUAL LEARNING: • Rich MCQ Format: Every question is paired with contextual hints, detailed explanations, and complete answer breakdowns so you learn the underlying concepts, not just the correct option. • Active Recall & Retention: Reinforcement mechanics reward mastery while encouraging you to review explanations for missed questions. • Pause & Study: Need time to process? Hold the timer to pause and thoroughly evaluate the question, options, and hints at your own pace. THREE WAYS TO STUDY & PLAY: • Game + Quiz (3D): The complete edutainment experience. Navigate 3D flight sectors, collect resources, avoid hazards, and trigger interactive quiz sessions on the go. • Dedicated Quiz (3D): An immersive revision mode set inside the 3D world. Focus entirely on answering questions and mastering concepts without ship destruction or obstacle hazards. • Dedicated Quiz (2D): A clean, streamlined learning interface. Run through question sets on a standard 2D screen for rapid, focused revision and flashcard-style review. CUSTOMIZE YOUR LEARNING: • Curated Question Sets: Easily activate, filter, and preview topics and question sets tailored to your revision goals. • Downloadable Bundles: Access and download new quiz bundles directly to expand your subject library. • Adjustable Timers: Fine-tune the quiz reading speed slider to match your personal pace, giving you the time you need to evaluate questions, options, and hints. Designed to make revision active and sustainable, CaptainLerna proves that learning can be as engaging as the game itself. Train fast, think faster, and master your subjects through action.
