What's New in Captain Mike's OUPV Prep

1.2.0

September 18, 2026

Timed exams, missed-question review, and saved questions. • Practice Exam now runs on a real countdown (30/60/120 minutes) and submits itself when time is up — just like test day. • After any quiz, tap Review Missed to see the correct answer and the rule behind every question you got wrong, or Retry Missed to drill them again. • Saved Questions: the Save button finally has a home. Open your saved list from the Home screen, reveal answers, and practice the whole set. • My Progress: tap any past session to review its questions. • Try Again restarts the same quiz instead of sending you back a screen. • Faster answering — the app no longer waits on disk between questions, and rapid taps can't lose an answer. • VoiceOver labels on quiz options, the timer, and results.

Great app with potential, some wrong answers

I really enjoy this app and the user interface. However, I have found too many answers that are incorrect. Example: one question said green over white indicates fishing, not trawling… when green over white does in fact mean trawling.

Response from developer

Thanks for the sharp catch, Mark — you're absolutely right: green over white means trawling (Rule 26), and red over white means fishing other than trawling. We've corrected that question and two related ones, and we're auditing the entire 2,282-question bank against the Navigation Rules to catch anything else. The fixes will ship in the next update. Appreciate you taking the time to flag it.
