WHAT'S NEW — Captalyze Work & Inspection Plan v1.1.3 (iOS Build 14 · Android Version Code 114) NEW FEATURE — Work Plan Handover & Transfer System Watch handover, simplified. When a Captain or Officer is signing off, transferring pending Work Plan tasks to the joining crew is now a one-tap, in-app operation. No more emails, no more whiteboards, no more lost context at change-over. • Inbox / Outbox / History tabs give every officer a complete audit trail of every transfer they've sent, received, or participated in. • Each transferred task carries its full history with it: notes, before/after photos, priority, due dates, inspection references (RISQ / OCIMF / SIRE), and the AI inspection analysis from earlier rounds. • Multi-select tasks at once, write a short note for the incoming Captain ("Pay attention to bunker hose leak — see task #4 photo"), pick the recipient, and tap CONFIRM TRANSFER. • Recipient picker now includes a live SEARCH BOX — type a name, role, or e-mail and the list filters in real time. Essential for companies with large crew rosters. • Platform admins are intentionally hidden from the handover recipient list — handovers are operational, not administrative. • Supported roles: Master, Chief Officer, Deck Officer, Chief Engineer, Engine Officer. Tasks are reassigned only when the recipient ACCEPTS — until then the outgoing Captain still owns them. REJECT and CANCEL paths preserved. • Bridge home: new "HANDOVER" quick-access tile with a red badge showing pending inbox count so the joining crew immediately sees there is work waiting. RISQ Inspection Guide — Integrated Expandable per-item RISQ V/03.2 guidance notes inside every checklist item (243 of 244 items covered). Contextual help during inspections — no more flipping between the app and a PDF. Critical iOS Layout Fixes • Status bar overlap on tab screens fixed — every screen now respects SafeArea insets correctly. • Back buttons brought to the foreground — no more collision with the clock or signal indicators. • "Send Now" / "Save" action bars no longer overflow horizontally on smaller iPhone models. Multiple Photo Selection Pick up to 10 photos at once from the gallery for any task. Faster before/after photo attachment, fewer taps per inspection round. Login Screen Enhancement Added a "Server unreachable? Try a VPN." notice — common on corporate networks behind restrictive firewalls. Now ship crew know exactly what to do when their company's egress policy blocks the connection. Backend Authorisation Hardening • Cross-company handover reads now correctly return 403 — strict tenant isolation between companies. • App Manager dashboard now correctly returns the full cross-company audit history of every handover for global oversight. • Eligible-recipient endpoint filters out platform-admin accounts so they can't accidentally receive operational handovers. • Full backend regression suite for the Handover module: 60 of 60 assertions PASS. Quality • Frontend test sweep validates the entire handover flow end-to-end at mobile dimensions (iPhone 12 / Galaxy S21). • Theme-aware dark mode propagates correctly to the new Handover and recipient-search surfaces. Behind the Scenes • New 'handovers' MongoDB collection with full audit trail (from/to user, task snapshot, timestamps, notes). • Tasks now carry a 'handover_chain[]' field so you can see every previous owner of any task at a glance. • New REST endpoints under /api/handover/* with role-based access control.
