CaptureClass

CaptureClass turns every class into a complete study loop: record the lecture, understand it with an AI tutor that shows its sources, practise what you're weakest on, study with your classmates, and see what you've actually mastered. RECORD AND TRANSCRIBE • One-tap lecture recording, organized by course • Automatic, searchable transcripts of every recording • Live transcription as the lecture happens, and translation into 19 languages TODAY: YOUR DAY, PLANNED Open the app to a plan, not a blank page: what to study from your own courses, concepts and exam dates, ordered by what needs it most, with deadlines alongside. SAM, YOUR AI TUTOR SAM (Student Assistant and Mentor) is available around the clock in three modes: • Ask: clear answers about any course topic • Guided tutoring: step-by-step hints that help you reach the answer yourself • Practice: prepare for tests When SAM answers from your own lectures or documents, it says which one it used. Tap the reference to open the source itself. STUDY TOGETHER Make a study group with your classmates and invite them with a link or a six-character code. • Record your study session in the room, with live notes on everyone's phone, or upload a recording from Discord or FaceTime • A few minutes later the recap and the questions nobody answered arrive in the group chat • Resolve the open questions together and turn them into flashcards • Ask @SAM in the group chat and it answers everyone from what the group has shared, saying which item it used • Joining shares nothing: you share one recording, material or guide at a time, and can unshare it whenever you like • Classmates without the app can follow a session's notes in a browser Report a message or block a member at any time. KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW • Concepts for each course, drawn from your own material • Practice quizzes that rate how sure you were, not just whether you were right • "Teach it back": explain a concept in your own words and get rubric feedback • A mastery map that links every level to the evidence behind it, and says "not enough evidence" when that's the truth YOUR LEARNING JOURNAL Capture a thought in seconds, typed or spoken, linked to the lecture it came from. STUDY TOOLS • AI study guides and practice quizzes built from your actual course content • Upload syllabi, slides, notes and assignments for search and for SAM • Upload a course schedule and your courses are created for you • Academic calendar with exams, assignments and reminders PROGRESS, HONESTLY MEASURED Track classes captured, practice and concepts mastered, week by week, against your own goals. No leaderboards, and no comparison to anyone else. CAREER CENTER Explore careers that fit your interests, compare course catalogs across schools, and build a semester-by-semester course roadmap. YOUR DATA, VISIBLE TO YOU • See everything CaptureClass stores about you, export a copy, or delete your account • Read a log of every AI request made for you and which of your material it used • You're asked before AI features are used for the first time • We don't allow our AI provider to train on your data WORKS ON THE WEB TOO Sign in at captureclass.datacapturelabs.com to study on a laptop with the same account.
