Crashes, don’t waste money
Got the demo (free version), seemed great but couldn’t adjust some settings without first buying full version, paid, and it crashed at 1min 3sec into video, and can not get it to work again, lowered settings, altered other settings trying to make it less required and even reset phone… good thing I don’t need it for insurance proof, it was a waste of money

Free ones are better
Very disappointed, video playback was very shaky and it didn’t matter what way round my phone was it played back upside down. I can see why there is no trial for it but silly me I should have realised having to pay for it before you use it there had to be a reason, as had I have trialed it I would not have purchased it

Needs an update, quick!
I’ve used this app in the past and have had no issues. Now, more often than not when I open the app I just have a grey screen and more or less have to keep opening the app until it finally works. Using the app on an iPhone 15 PM running iOS 17.6.1. The app has been uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.

Audio lags behind video
The audio lags behind the video by at least two seconds. This is very annoying and has been going on some time, but it seems that the developer has not updated the app in nearly a year.
Also, I wish it had a few additional features:
-4K at 60 fps. Currently you must choose 1080p at 60 fps, or if you want 4K it maxes out at 30 fps
-I wish we were able to add a line of custom text that would appear at the top, just like the date/time, speed, etc.

Super happy
I’ve been super happy with this app. My only complaint is perhaps a misunderstanding about when videos are overwritten. It’s not kept until space runs out. You need to go to the settings to choose how many videos are maintained in temporary before they are deleted. I wish I had known that and that the default was five. Recently had a video the police wanted and it was deleted with no way to retrieve that I can find.

The app will stop recording video if you switch between apps. It should record in the background.
Video extension
Could video extension be in .mp4 or .m4a instead of .mov, more practical for readers and sharing
The app is great, but why can't I record from both cameras?
I have tried multiple recording apps, and this is the most reliable I've found. However, it's missing one function that seems really basic, and that's the ability to select which camera to use. Every other similar app like this lets me select front or back camera, but this only uses back camera. There are other applications where loop recording is very helpful, and it's a pain to record when you can't easily see the frame of what's being recorded. For example, I draw, and I like to record progress videos of my work as I draw. It would be very helpful if I could use the front camera, set it on the tripod, and then sit down and see what's being filmed. Is there any chance this could be added? It seems like such a predictable feature that I keep looking for it in hopes I'm just missing it... but... have never found it. haha.

Will not run in background
Who, in 2024, sells an app that won’t run in the background? …. these guys! If you open any other app, Google maps, Waze, a music player, anything, this Dashcam stops recording. Ridiculous.

Fuzzy picture
Exactly what the title says, fuzzy picture poor resolution. If you’re going to give an app where you can video while you drive then at least make the resolution par with the type of camera you have on your phone. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’ve had this app for four years with other devices, and poor resolution

Режим только один, горизонтальный. Почему не сделать на выбор ? Мне вот, например, неудобно переставлять кронштейн в машине каждый раз.
А вообще приложение утратило свою актуальность. Можно тупо включить и камеру телефона, в которой будет больше настроек записи. Тогда уж добавьте функционал..например отображение камер поверх окна записи..так сказать дополненная реальность.

Excellent app for its purpose.
My only suggestion for a future release is that you please add an option to use both front and back cams for dashcam and cabin recording, along with separate split screen options.
