About

Car Expense Track(old name: CarLogs) is a private, offline-first iOS app (SwiftUI + GRDB/SQLite) for tracking your car's fuel fills, maintenance, oil checks, and expenses — all data stays on-device with no servers, ads, or tracking. Key features: Records: fuel (auto-calculates price/L and L/100km), maintenance, oil checks (refills never count as expenses), and expenses — all editable/deletable, with optional notes. Oil tracking: status banner (OK/due/overdue) and a local reminder 25 days after last oil check. Stats & charts: expense breakdown, fuel consumption, fuel price trends, monthly mileage, oil refill history (Swift Charts). Settings: 8 currencies, EN/CHINESE/SPANISH switching, custom categories, full SQLite export/import (validated, replace-all on import). Privacy: 100% on-device; import/export is the only way data leaves the phone. Requirements: iOS 27+, iPhone/iPad. Dev setup uses xcodegen + Xcode. Proprietary license.

What's New in Car Expense Track

1.2.9

October 28, 2026

Car Expense Track 1.2.9 keeps your record cards tight and reads photographed pump displays more carefully. In the grid, a fuel record's date now sits at the right end of the same line as its icon, which frees a whole line inside the card for the litres, the distance and the consumption. Other kinds of record keep the date on its own line, where a title would otherwise be cut short. Reading a pump display from a photo is now more careful: text the app is not sure it saw is no longer turned into a volume, so a blurred line of printing beside the display cannot arrive as litres. When the figures really cannot be read, you are asked to frame the display again. Your records, categories and settings carry over untouched.
