What's New in Car Zone
1.2
July 13, 2026
This update focuses on making everyday logging easier, giving you more control over how money is shown in the app, and tightening a few rough edges so Car Zone feels more dependable when you need it most. Fuel logging that matches real life When you log a fill-up, you can now enter an optional total cost for that purchase. If you add a cost, Car Zone saves it on the fuel entry and automatically adds a matching “Fuel” line to your motor vehicle expenses for that vehicle, using the same date as the fill-up. That way your fuel spend shows up alongside service, parts, insurance, and everything else you track—without entering the same purchase twice. The fuel summary on your vehicle screen now reflects cost when you’ve saved one, so you can see liters, distance context, and spend at a glance. Vehicle profile PDFs now include a Cost column in the fuel log table when amounts are present, so printed or shared summaries stay aligned with what you see in the app. Currency, your way The currency picker now includes a much broader set of ISO-style currencies, so you can match the app to how you actually think about money, whether you’re local, regional, or often dealing in another currency. Finding the right code is faster too: the picker includes search by currency code or name, and the list is ordered for quick scanning. Amounts throughout the app continue to respect your selected currency for labels and formatting. Contacts and iOS reliability We’ve improved how the app integrates with system contacts on supported flows and reduced the chance of iOS build issues tied to incomplete plugin files in your development environment. If you build from source, a clean flutter pub get and pod install keeps paths in sync; end users benefit from a more stable binary. Quality and polish Behind the scenes we’ve continued to refine layouts, validation, and small UI details so forms like fuel logging stay usable on smaller screens (for example, scrollable dialogs where the keyboard used to crowd the fields). Ongoing dependency and tooling updates help keep Car Zone aligned with current Flutter and platform expectations. Tips for getting the most out of this version • After a fill-up, log liters and odometer as before; add total cost when you want that tank to count toward monthly fuel totals in Expenses. • Open Profile (or your app’s currency entry point) to switch currency or search for a code if you’ve moved or travel often. • Export or share a vehicle PDF when you want a concise paper trail that includes fuel cost where you’ve entered it. Thank you for using Car Zone. If something doesn’t look right after updating, force-quit and reopen the app once so preferences and cached lists reload cleanly. We’re always tightening the experience—keep the feedback coming.
