CarapachoGO-Cooperativa is the official platform for taxi cooperatives, vehicle owners, and licensed drivers operating on Santa Cruz in the Galapagos Islands. It is designed to support the day-to-day operations of the transportation ecosystem and works together with the CarapachoGO passenger app. For Drivers: • Receive nearby ride requests • View passenger pickup details • Navigate and manage the complete ride flow • Update ride status: Arriving → Picked Up → In Progress → Completed • Accept cash payments or app balance payments • Receive clear instructions for giving change when passengers pay cash For Owners: • All driver functionality • Register and manage vehicles • Assign drivers to authorized vehicles • Oversee operational status and shift activity For Cooperatives: • Review and approve vehicle registrations • Maintain compliance across the transportation network • Support coordinated, safe, and efficient taxi operations Payments: Drivers and owners can accept cash or app-balance payments. Cash handling is supported inside the app, and any overpayment is credited to the passenger’s wallet for future rides. Note: This app is intended only for authorized drivers, vehicle owners, and cooperative administrators. Passengers must download the separate CarapachoGO app to request rides.
