New - iCloud setup assistant for enabling or switching to iCloud sync, including account check, backup acknowledgement, and initial sync. - Extended sync mode selection for local storage, iCloud, and Private Cloud with visible current mode and data summary. - Technical diagnostic reporting with privacy filtering and improved email support fallback. - Improved trip sharing with share invitation, copy link, role codes, and access removal. - Expanded trip overview with timeline, maps, trip photos, routes, cost highlights, and country detection. - Extended GPX/GPS track workflow: imported and recorded tracks remain editable and can be assigned to trips or entries. - Private Cloud protocol v2 prepared with minimum version, health checks, atomic snapshot sync, and conflict protection. Changes - Edit screens for trips, entries, vehicles, campsites, and GPS tracks now use local drafts more consistently and save on completion. - Sync & Backup was restructured around local storage, iCloud, and Private Cloud. - Private Cloud code handling, import, and backup import/export were simplified. - Active GPS recording now shows a more compact status with distance and start time. - Support news and help texts clean up HTML and formatting more reliably. - German, English, French, and Russian localizations were expanded and updated. - Dashboard, list, and detail views were polished and made more stable. Fixes - iCloud and Private Cloud sync loops are detected and paused automatically. - Immediate sync after local changes handles cancellations and network errors more robustly. - CloudKit production schema errors for CD_uuid in CD_Trip are caught; uploads are retried without that field. - Trips with damaged or invalid GPS coordinates no longer crash on open; invalid points are ignored. - Private Cloud uploads handle oversized snapshots, images, and GPX data with clearer behavior and reduction where possible. - Backup import with active Private Cloud sync now handles follow-up sync and partial failures more cleanly. - Switching between iCloud and Private Cloud stops more safely on conflicts or incomplete sync. - CloudKit schema and sync field coverage were updated. - Export, backup, and support contact errors were stabilized. - Test coverage was expanded for sync, export, cost summaries, and collaboration merging.
