Best for blind folks

The tutorial is simple. The format is perfect and what doesn't need manually sorted out is automatically sorted out for you. The score is clear your opponents actions are clear and the tips are incredible. All card games should come from a company like this. I want Texas hold them from this company for the blind. Thank you

Very fun game.

This game is a lot of fun. At the time of writing this there are 4 games included and seemingly many more are planned. I appreciate the accessibility attention from this developer, all of the games and features work very well with voiceover which is very good. I can get enjoyment out of this app and I figure it will only get better with time as new games and features become available.

I love this app

Card World

Card World is a great app and I’m really enjoying playing it. The game is very accessible, easy to use, and fun to play. I love how it makes card games more enjoyable and welcoming for everyone. It’s a simple, fun, and accessible game that I would definitely recommend. ❤️

Some observations and hopeful requests

I am embarrassed to say that I just realized this game existed. After I figured out how to play 2 out of the 3 games I hit the ground running. I want to say I really enjoy playing this game even though at the moment I am losing more than winning… The reason I didn’t give the app 5 stars is becaus I think that requiring players to use a gem just to play, both bonus and regular games is frustrating. Why can’t it be like Dice World where the gems are used to take bonus turns??? Also, we can’t even post on the forum unless we subscribe??? I get money needs to be made, but we can’t even play with the bots for free??? Please consider giving us something more that doesn’t require a monetary value? oh, last thing, can there be a random opponent element added to the game like in DW? Will there be other card games like UNO, Pity Pat or 5000 added to the game in the future? Just hoping, thanks for the tgame!

Thank you for playing.

I would rate this even higher if I could

Hey everyone, Melanie here, I ❤️ Dice World, and now I ❤️ Card World just as much. I would love to see more accessible card games, such as Crazy Eights, Uno, Poker, Canasta, and maybe even a couple of card games for younger players, I would love to have something that I can play with my grandkids. This is the best developer I have ever come across. When I first encountered Dice World, it was a mess as far as accessibility goes, but after time and a lot of effort by him, he learned how to use voiceover, and how to develop his games for not only the sighted world, but also for the visually impaired world as well, so that we all can enjoy playing with our sighted friends and family. Thanks so much for all of the time and effort that you have put into your games, you put a lot of heart and soul into each one. A+++++ to you. ♥️♠️♦️♣️

Hearts a little predictable

I’ve played hearts in real life and on the app. It gets a bit predictable because it’s often the same cards being dealt out. There can be slight variation here or there, but for the large majority of the time you can kind of guess and gather with the other person‘s hand probably looks like. I find the probability of knowing what’s going on in the other person‘s hand less likely when there’s a draw pile such as in gin rummy. I like the app though and have enjoyed playing against friends.

I really, really love this app

I really love this app, but I wish there were more card games like spades or TONK those are also classics alongside Remi and G. This app has absolutely become a part of my everyday life and peace. Can you please look into the game called Cantina. It’s like a Rummy 500 on steroids lol or do you think it would ever be possible for us to be able to do more than two multiplayer online matches if you were to develop more card games?U

Love The Accessability For All

It is great that blind and sighted gamers can play together. I love the tutorials. I just wish there were more games, and you could invite. Also, I posted about the game on my blog Gaming Guru Talks on medium.

Thank you

Thank you for the updates and information now I have one suggestion if you can can you add some Dice World sound effects for some of the Card World features like when you win or lose some of that sounds like a splat or the fog horn or any of those sounds? Also, one game I suggest maybe you can add scopa. and if you can, can you please add Uno to the list Uno is our all-time favorites one of Blind community. for the characters, could you add actors that will say comments when you draw or play a card? I appreciate your support to this game and also could you advertise Dice World for one of the video ads when you watch videos for gems? Thanks.

This game is really fun and awesome. As a blind person myself, I'm learning a lot when it comes to playing the games.

Response from developer

Thank you. I’m really glad Card World is fun and accessible for you, and that it is helping you learn the games.

Errors

When I tried going into the game this afternoon, it was on a loading screen after I played a few games and then when I tried to get out of the game, it still gave me errors. I’m wondering if there’s going to be another update to fix this or if this update needs a little bit more work? If so, please let me know. Thank you.

Fun Accessible Card Games

I played tons of Gin Rummy when I was a kid during summer vacations at the shore. I love the ability to play it again. The author takes VoiceOver accessibility seriously.

Response from developer

Thanks so much, Austin. Bringing that kind of card-table feeling back is exactly why Card World exists, and accessibility will keep staying at the center of it.

Perfect Accessibility

Hi. My name is Mercy, and I'm so happy that this game is accessible. I've always wanted to learn Rummy but it was always difficult but not anymore with Card World. Thank you for making accessibility a key focus.

Response from developer

Thank you, Mercy. I am so glad Card World made Rummy easier to learn and enjoy. Accessibility is not an add-on here; it is part of the foundation.

Good Game

Overall, this is a well made and accessible Rummy game that can be enjoyed by sighted and blind players alike. The controls are intuitive and the rules of both available games are easy to learn due to the built-in tutorials and the written rules if you still need clarification on something.

Response from developer

Thank you for the thoughtful review. I am glad the tutorials, rules, controls, and accessibility work are helping both blind and sighted players enjoy the same table.

Love this game!

Very awesome, you don’t realize how much an app like this means to me! Thank you guys so much!

Response from developer

Thank you. It means a lot to hear that Card World matters to you. I really appreciate you playing and supporting the app.

Been waiting for this for a long time

I have played other somewhat accessible card games but nothing at all like this! I was introduced to Dice World about seven years ago and thoroughly enjoy it, but always wanted a card game. I lost my eyesight later in life. This brings back memories of playing gin rummy with my father when I was a child. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!
