Doesn’t work

Tried to use but chosen template only loads now and then and then everytime you go to use it it crashes back to the choose game screen

Kept irretrievably closing my game.

Tried to score a game of quirkle and we got so sick of having to restart after losing our progress after minutes. No idea how you could score a longer game reliably with this app.

In progress games are hard to find

I just started using CardBoard, and it seems fairly feature rich for a free app. The primary problem I have is that games I’ve created seem to “disappear”. This new a lot when the game list was initially loading. I’d select a game, start configuring players, and then would get kicked back to the game list with no idea what happened to my game.

Eventually I discovered that I could click the icon in the upper right of the screen and select Past Plays to find my games. Why this isn’t available from the Home Screen, instead of a year old “Happy New Year” tile I have no idea.

I think this has some potential, but it really could use some UI/UX polish.

Thanks for the review and great to hear you are mostly enjoying the app. You’ll be glad to know we are working away on a redesigned 2.0 update. Watch this space…

Alright but loses scores if your phone goes to sleep.

It you take a bit of time to enter scores, or even if you setup before playing the game, it frequently resets back to the game list causing the setup game and any scores to be lost. Real annoying when it happens.

Good news! We’ve added a fix in the latest version, and are hard at work on a new and improved version 2.0. Happy gaming.

Excellent scorepad app!

Been looking for a decent iOS board game scorepad app for ages and this is it! Scoresheets already set up for many games, or you can (easily) add any game in the BoardGameGeek database. Clean, simple interface which is what you want - tried several apps that are harder work than using pen and paper!

Exactly what I was looking for!

Custom scoring sheets by game with fast input, people and role selection, 1st player randomization, and play history. Many games are already in the database. If someone hasn’t created a score sheet for the game you want to play, it will pull details from BGG and you can create a custom scoring sheet to share with the community. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for the positive vibes! Glad you’re enjoying the app: it’s a labor of love.

Good, lacks support for gradual scoring

I can see how this app is great for games that work out scores at the end like Wingspan.

My first game was Ticket to Ride which includes scoring every turn. You can add, subtract, multiply, divide, but you can't edit. If you so much as hit a wrong digit, you must clear the whole cell and start again. Backspace would be a simple and very beneficial feature.
