Problems evaluating surface
I evaluated a well worn 1957 topps card that clearly has surface issues (cracking in the gloss that look like scratches). I checked it twice with the 3 credits you get for free. One deep scan and one quick scan. Both times the surface came back as 10s. At best the surface is a 4 or 5. The other subgrades were pretty accurate. The pricing model is confusing. On one hand it seems like you pay for credits that you spend on scans, which is a great model, but then when you go to sign up, it’s a monthly charge four a certain number of credits. So do unused credits expire at the end of each month? If so, it’s a pretty expensive grader. Regardless, the surface grading is a deal killer for now.

Nothing works because tge txt hides the sace and cancel buttons.
Nothing works because tge txt hides the sace and cancel buttons. Try to rescan and it asks me to update the card name but doesn’t accept whatever input i type. Just keeps asking for updated card name
Best for current eBay prices
This card grader is excellent for telling you if you should grade a card or sell it as a raw card.

Fine for centering and market price estimates, but an absolute failure for grading. I graded 3 Pokemon cards to evaluate the app. One of the cards I literally removed from 27 year old original plastic and immediately sleeved 3 days prior. I bought the starter set the card came from in 1999, so I knew its history.
The card was pristine, but the app graded it a 7/10, due to excessive corner nicks and frayed edges it claimed were likely caused by poor handling or excessive playing. When I told the AI agent “Carl” the card was literally out of the package, it suggested I had the wrong card, that I was confused.
The second card was misidentified. It recognized Pikachu as a different character, Charmander, and graded the card a 7, again for damaged edges and corners not matching reality.
The third card was graded 3.5, for a card I seriously considered a potential 10, again citing visible damage not matching reality.
I cancelled my subscription immediately and deleted the app.
