Vary bad

I have been using this for 1 year but it has stopped working and there is no support for this app so pls do not download this app.

No good

It capture only one contact number, each card has several numbers but it pick only one, which is frustrating and not value for money, money take, no trail option. Do not download

Folded?

I think this app is no longer in service and I've lost all the cards I uploaded with no way to recover. Terrible.

got worse

Had old version of the app. They updated to require a login. During this process, they lost all my old cards, not worth the time and effort.

Absolute Rubbish

𐌌ꪗ phone's built in scanner does მ better job

Limited to cam only

Allow access to camera roll so we could import cards previously saved in other apps.

App inutile

Non funziona non riconosce nulla, non fa nulla di quanto reclamizzato nella descrizione soldi completamente buttati, vergogna che Apple faccia pubblicare le app che non funzionano

UNWORKABLE

Waste of money.

Not operational

Stopped working on my phone. Doesn’t open anymore no way to retrieve data

App does not open

I love the app when it works. But recently when click the app it starts to load then closes.

Please fix this app

How store still allowing

Need refund. Looks I went to 2014................

Scope for improvement

No back side capture, take long time to recognise the card also you have to select manually the person name and company name.

User friendly

I can store unlimited cards without any restrictions

Basic

The app is pretty basic. It’s like taking a pic but with the ability to socialize. I needed an app where I can search and do a few things this free app doesn’t have.

Ok but misleading

They say there is no limit however there definitely is. After I scan a certain amount of cards the first one I did disappears, scan another one and the second one I did disappears.

Excellent

Awesome and free !!!

Basically good; promising

CardHQ provides a quick and fairly accurate way to scan and save your business cards, and it provides an adequate means of converting that image into a basic digital contact that must be manually refined. (I have the iPhone version)

Once the app scans the card, it provides a variety of options such as Call, Message (text), Email, Web (find the company site online), Navigate, and copy text. It also appears to integrate with Waze, Skype, Twitter, and LinkedIN. I tried the LinkedIN (I have the LinkedIN app on my phone and am already logged in), but all that occurred was that the LinkedIN app opened. I then tried selecting the name on the business card first, then hitting LinkedIN, and again nothing happened (other than the app opening). Finally, you can “Save to Phone Contacts.” This last feature is the one I most care about, and I find its integration is less than stellar but still a good start. Here’s why:

When you click Save to Phone Contacts, the app shows you the card with all text fields outlined in red. You must then select the individual’s name and company. At that point, those two elements are saved to your contacts app as a new card. The additional text on the original card may or may not get integrated, and that information may or may not be accurate. Example one: Your new contact card has only the name and company. Example two: Your new contact card has some additional information as well. Example three: The phone numbers are saved but without the area code (the app sees the area code as a separate field on the card). Example four: rarely does the app see and import the address correctly. I suspect the reason for this is that most addresses appear on business cards in multiple lines because the one time the app accurately got the entire address was when it was looking at a business card where the address was on a single line. So you will sometimes get just the street address, or just the city and zip. Most times, the app reads the person’s entire name as their first name.

The app saves and scans business cards quickly. It can quickly import a very basic digital card to your phone’s contacts book, and with some effort, you can manually finish the job.

So far so good

After a review of various articles I decided to go with this app.

Scanning in is easy. The images are not cropped but the data seems to be there ok.

The help page doesn’t load up and I am uncertain how I access my back up if it crashes. Would love to be more confident and maybe able to export a copy to my email to allow me to restore if it all went wrong.

10 inches of business card scanned easily with no fuss.

Loving this already. Simple. Effortless. Organization.

I already love this app so much. I have so many darn business cards! I only wish I could add data to the record because folks have gotten fancy with their cards and they have some text on one side and some on the other. Or they have fancy pants writing that is tough to detect. I can barely read it so I don’t expect the app to do so.

Great app! Take a quick photo of the business cards I receive every day, then they are ready for my contact database.
