Rubbish collection

Don’t bother ringing to report missed collection
I have many times but they NEVER send anyone
Waste of time

Rubbish

If you what to report say the hole of st Mellons for rubbish it’s not possible or block drains why is that .. why can I only report say my address ?

Hello, Cardiff Gov App does allow for the reporting of flytipping, littering and blocked drains. These reports can be submitted against any public areas, not just at your home address. Missed collections

Great way to find information on collections, rescheduled collections and report missed collection when needed.

Error messages

Constant error messages ‘sorry something went wrong’ when switching from page to page. Cannot enter my address. App seems to think I’m not connected to the internet even though I am. Poor

Street lighting

Mostly ok but there isn’t a way to report broken street lamps on here.

Bit pointless....

....if, like me, you’re using it to get reminders of bin day. The old text service was great. Never failed to send you a text evening when collection days changed.
This app allows you to set reminders but then never alerts you at the set time. Useless.

Doesn’t work

Absolute piece of crap. Won’t take apostrophe in Irish surname so cannot access anything at all. Basic programming error. Should not allow this to represent Cardiff Council before being tested.
