What's New in CardSquad

1.2.3

July 7, 2026

I made a few small UI improvements so the app feels clearer and easier to use day to day. I also tuned scanning and collection browsing performance, then cleaned up minor details to make the experience feel smoother and more reliable.

Too restrictive

Having a daily scan limit on a paid app is insane.

Response from developer

Hi Skitza, I completely understand where you’re coming from, and I’m sorry the daily limit made the app feel too restrictive. The reason the limit exists is that every card scan has a real processing cost on my side as well. I’m an independent developer, and I need to balance those costs while also preventing abuse and keeping the scanning speed and quality consistent for everyone. That said, I completely understand that paid users expect much more flexibility. I’m already working on improving the limits and adding better options for collectors who need to scan a much larger number of cards. I really appreciate your feedback — comments like this genuinely help me understand what needs to be improved. You can also contact me through support anytime; I’m always happy to listen and help. If the upcoming improvements make the app a better experience for you and you’re happy with it, I’d really appreciate it if you considered updating your review to 5 stars. As an independent developer, reviews make a huge difference and directly help me continue improving the app. Thank you again for giving the app a try and for sharing your feedback.

Expensive

Inaccurate and way too expensive

Response from developer

Hi Mike, I'm really sorry to hear that the app didn't meet your expectations. I spend a lot of time trying to make the app as accurate as possible while also keeping it affordable. If you could send me an email through the in-app Support option and let me know exactly which cards were identified incorrectly, I'd genuinely appreciate it. Those reports help me improve the recognition system much faster, and I personally review every one of them. As an independent developer, every scan also has a real cost on my side (AI processing, servers, and ongoing development). That's why I have to charge for the service instead of offering it completely free. I always try to keep the pricing as fair as possible while continuing to improve the app. I'm constantly working on updates to make the identification more accurate and the overall experience better. I truly appreciate any detailed feedback, and I hope you'll give the app another chance in the future. Thank you.

Abzocke

Response from developer

Vielen Dank!
