Cool Idea, missing a lot of cars

Great idea, and hopefully it continues to grow, but if you have cars that are older or not super popular (aka JDM, Porsche) then it won’t recognize the car. I wouldn’t pay 29.99 for the yearly, unfortunately I already did and so far the app has been bad

It’s “okay”. I’m torn…

I have very little to complain about. While I realize designing an app takes time and money, it’s hard to decide if this one is AI generated, or done by a small developer. For the high subscription price, I sincerely hope it’s human coded. With that being said, I like how the app operates. I just don’t think it’s quite worth what it costs weekly or yearly. I’m not totally sold yet. The scan feature is handy but not always accurate. That’s to be suspected. This is my second die cast app and I’m just not sure. I’ll keep it a while longer but I’m still shopping for something more reasonable. I scanned my entire collection once and now twice but I’m just not feeling “yep, this is the one.”

Waited so long!!

I have waited so long for an app like this. It works way better than expected. Takes like 5 seconds to scan, categorize and value. I have scanned over 1000 cars so far, happy to pay for the Pro version of this app. Only 4000 more cars to go 👍🏻.

$5 a week and $40 a year just to put more than 10 cars in your collection? Fastest app delete Ive ever done. Im not paying $40 a year to just to estimate the value of roughly 30 cars. Even if you have more than that why do we have to pay $40 annually just to get a value estimate?

Great Potential!

This app is really good but there are still come things that could change. An update price chart would be nice to see if HW are growing in value. Adding standard photos instead of someone’s pic poor quality photo would be nice too. But overall great app.

Not accurate at all

Even after the recent update, i believe 1.1.1 or something, this app doesn’t recognize cars I have and for the one it did, it shows non-existent pricing, about $6 for $2 car. I’d pass on this, sorry

The two things you mentioned (recognition misses and inflated pricing) are exactly the areas I’m actively improving right now, and real examples like yours are by far the most helpful way to fix this properly. If you’re open to it, could you email me at sasha@carlect.app with a few of the cars you scanned that didn’t work well? Even just quick photos or the names/castings you tried is perfect. I’ll personally look into each one and use them to improve both the scanner and the pricing logic. Great App 👍

Finally an app built for real collectors. Scans fast, catches duplicates instantly, and tracking collection value is a nice touch. Clean UI, no clutter. Highly recommend.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Good app

I tried several similar apps but they didn’t have such generous free tier to try fully all the features. The car recognition works well, but not without some occasional bugs. Looking forward to new updates

Must-have app for collectors for Hot wheels

Absolutely love this app! The interface is clean and easy to use, and it makes tracking and organizing my diecast collection super convenient. I especially like how smooth everything runs and how quickly I can find specific models. It’s perfect for both beginners and serious collectors. Highly recommend to anyone into Hot Wheels or Matchbox collections!
