Fun and nostalgic but randomly resets
After not playing the game for a month, when I opened it again all of my progress was erased. Weird and annoying, not sure I’ll reply everything again.

I am having a blast with this silly little game.
as an adult there are aspects of this game that feel too “childish” (like the random facts about monumentally large historical objects that were “stolen”) but I also can’t help find it more charming and kitsch than patronizing. I can’t say i am learning anything (knowing that mustafa was the last sultan to reign twice without any context as to why is really not… learning…) but it is inspiring some fun wikipedia searches!

This game is amazing and is free to people with a Netflix subscription it is also good for kids because it teaches them about geography and landmarks. I gave it a four star rating because the graphics aren’t perfect.

Where is Carmen Sandiego
I was excited to learn that a Carmen SanDiego game was created for Netflix. I played the 1985 original as a kid and was hooked. Even still have the world almanac paperback that I used as a reference. The game is true to the original albeit updated for next generation.. improved graphics and an updated dossier of Vile henchman. The storyline has a gripping plot with doable puzzles. In short, this version made me happy and would recommend this game to an Carmen San Diego fan.

Ever since I was 10 I loved this show and this game is so fun. L love puzzles and finding thing out so this game is perfect. I would also like if u add more episodes on Carmen sandiego. But DEFINITELY GET THIS GAME
It’s is hard
There are some questions when you are investigating are really hard and then it stops you from solving the case.
Things you could fix
I think the stem is very well made but I think that there are some bugs you could fix. starting us of the characters the characters don’t really replicate how the characters look in the show. Also the voices just don’t sound right. Also I think there should be a little more freedom.
Otherwise I think the game is very well made. And I like how you took one of you older shows and made it into this beautiful game.

A Great Addition to the Franchise
Really enjoyed this game a lot! I’m familiar with the Carmen Sandiego franchise, so it’s nice to have another solid game to add to the collection. The characters, art, capers, and everything was fun and enjoyable to play through.
My only real criticism is that I think there should be more locations to visit around the world. Because there’s only 15 cities, it does start to feel a little repetitive after some time since you keep on coming back to the same places you’ve already seen. My hope is that they can add more cities and locations in a
future update.
Considering the very first Carmen game had over 30 cities to visit around the world, it would only make sense to have 30 cities in this game (since it’s meant to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the original release).

Feels nice to play a Carmen game.
Ever since I’ve seen videos of the first Carmen Sandiego, and seeing the Netflix series, I’ve tried to emulate or download a couple Carmen games, but couldn’t get them to play properly, this one I can definitely feel the energy of traveling the world and catching VILE thieves. I’m happy I am able to play this.

Great game! Some Continuity Errors Need Fixing
This game is fantastic, so nostalgic, learning as much now as I did as I kid. I’m really glad this franchise has been revitalized. Highly recommend.
That being said I have one hangup about the signal boost caper (SPOILER ALERT). The main plot point is Player is on the run to avoid being framed for a burglary, unable to be contacted, Agent Hyde replaces him. But then he pops up throughout the mission to tell Carmen, there’s no more VILE activity in a country’s sub area, or that it’s time to get on the plane to go to the next location, and his face is still used as the help icon and for the investigator bonus when completing mini games. He should be replaced with Agent Hyde for this mission, no? A minor continuity error that kinda took me out of the game a little.
Otherwise it’s a superb educational game, highly recommend!

Inaccurate clues
The clues given are inaccurate and creates a scenario where none of the suspects match.
Lost all progress
This game had potential. Fun, challenging enough, a great throwback to the show I watched as a kid, but I lost all progress. Played it a couple of times a couple months ago, logged in today (yes, under the saw Netflix profile), and all the progress I had made is gone. I’m back to square one. Immediately deleted the app. So disappointing.
