Advertising Hackers
The app was boring and nobody used it. Then they started allowing hacker and scammer advertising that could possibly spread viruses and that was it. Removed it.
Login option went away
I re-downloaded this because I run a car group and we used to have an account on it. Whenever I went to login, it said that my iPhone has been hacked. My performance slowed so I deleted the app and it fixed my problem. It never let me login.
App is down
The CEO (now deceased) reached out to me months ago prior to passing, asking for help this app did not have any real features for the car community

Hacked
This app has now been hacked. It will steal your data. I really liked it when it was operational.

Love this app but noticed the past few months it has a location error while logging in. Now checking it today it seems the server is down ( server can’t be found ) I hope they get it fixed I definitely would continue to use the app.

In a world dominated by social media, cars take a back seat to everything else. Carmmunity brings the automotive aspect of social media to the front and center, and gives enthusiasts the social media space they deserve.
Great for enthusiasts
This is such a fresh take on a social media platform and it’s for an interest of mine which I love. The app isn’t perfect and still being developed, but it feels so light weight, not constantly bombarded by ads or shorts. It’s a pretty chill experience and works well!

This is a fun way to connect with like minded car enthusiasts in your area. I like that you can search different shops and automotive related businesses in the cities. It’s also a great way to update friends on your car build and photos of your ride if you’d like.

This app is great to use to keep your social media strictly car enthusiast related! keep tabs on your friends and favorite builds, get ideas, expand your network, and all car shows happening around the area all in one place!
I sincerely love this app but it needs its UI smoothed out
Some things are small like the create an account page you can’t see the line of text you are typing; unlike other apps when you go to type on a new line it will automatically push it up. Other things like in the Nearby tab the local cars don’t display it just shows a purple bubble. Hopefully the team can look into these things to help make the app very polished. I can tell this app is fairly new so hence the 5 stars but i have much hope this app will fill the under saturated car based application market. Best regards team.

The BEST when traveling!
It’s super awesome to go to a new state when traveling (fun or work) and just hit the “nearby” tab and add locals as friends or even find out what meets may be nearby.
Especially when going to warm states during Minnesota winters. It’s nice to pop into Texas or Tennessee and see what’s going on. Super cool.

Social media for the adventurous car person looking to make meaningful connections
I found Carmmunity because it powers the map on carsandcoffee.com. While I sadly still can't find my event listed on the map and there is no way to set recurring events as far as I can tell, the app has come a long way just in the last few weeks. Most of the bugs I encountered at first have been ironed out, and the app is both reliable and responsive.
More importantly, it's a promising concept I can see really taking hold. Too many social media apps either want to keep you tied to your phone (Twitter) or don't really allow for online interactions in addition to real-life functions (Meetup).
Carmmunity takes ideas from car communities on places like Reddit and FB Groups, blurring the lines between your real life and your life online. If you're at all interested in meeting other likeminded automotive enthusiasts, why not give it a shot?

Should add a feature to be able to pin point the exact location for Events. I live in Guam and was not able to add a location for my event because “Guam” wasn’t on the list.
Works just like any new app, but I see so much potential! Just waiting for more cool features to be added. I had all my friends download and sign up with me! Fun so far.
