About

Help your loved one know when it’s time to rest and when it’s time to start the day. Carm's Clock is a simplified visual aid designed specifically for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory loss who may struggle to read traditional clocks or understand the concept of time. Instead of confusing numbers or dials, Carm's Clock uses clear, friendly illustrations to answer the one question that matters most: "Is it time to get up?" KEY FEATURES: Visual Cues: A calming night scene indicates it is time to sleep, while a bright, happy morning scene shows it is time to wake up. Zero Confusion: The interface is locked down to prevent accidental exits or setting changes. There are no buttons, alarms, or complex menus visible on the main screen. High Contrast & Readable: Large, easy-to-read text reinforces the visual image (e.g., "Time to sleep"). Caregiver Controls: Sleep and wake times are fully customizable but hidden behind a "double-tap" gesture to ensure the user cannot accidentally change the schedule. HOW IT WORKS: A caregiver double-taps the screen to open the hidden settings. Set the "Sleep Time" (e.g., 8:00 PM) and "Wake Time" (e.g., 7:00 AM). Place the iPad on a nightstand. The app automatically switches between the sleeping and waking illustrations based on the schedule you set. Give your loved one the comfort of routine and independence with Carm's Clock.
